It won't always be sunny and bright when boating, so it's nice to see an occasional review in bad weather. The rainy conditions actually highlight how welcoming, bright and cozy the interior really is. I would thoroughly enjoy sitting and reading a good book, listening to the rain on the overhead glass roof. It's a cocktails and snacks kind of day!
Greetings from Melbourne. He didn't say that Nick sets the prices, but I agree that it is not worth it, in terms of finishes and materials compared to a similar Sunseeker or Riviera.
@@Gustavo-dh5dx I think it's too expensive as well but he said Nick, how on earth is this worth 2.1mil implying Nick made the price or argued it's a fair price
Love the configuration of the lower deck. Very nice owner's suite and I love a downstairs atrium-like galley. Admittedly I'm nothing more than a keyboard yachter, so perhaps they aren't as practical as a galley nearer the socializing areas. And who doesn't love an onboard solitary confinement cell. 🙂
One of the first Pardo's I've been impressed with. I haven't been a fan of their exterior styling when they were everyone in the Med's chase boat. This has a nice layout, especially for the size. This is less dayboat and more actual weekender, extended holiday yacht
A seamless indoor-outdoor living experience with a spacious salon and galley opening up to the aft deck. What excellent interaction between indoor and outdoor spaces! Loving the electric bimini for shade, large windows for natural light, and those stylish Italian flourishes. So much more than an estuary skulking marina queen, this fine vessel will be the envy of your freinds and enemies alike.
The contrast with the recent Aquastar 57 you treated us to couldn’t be greater. Granted that was a 2009 model but the space, capability and comfort at a third of the price highlights what fantastic value older Boats can be.
Agreed! I LIKE the lower profile on this one but the interior materials leave a bit to be desired for the price. The real money went into the mechanicals, which is no bad thing.
I couldn't agree more, this is beautiful, but over 2 million and not even fully equipped just makes a boat like the Aquastar look like an absolute bargain, especially when you consider that it's bigger and more outfitted to be a sea-going vessel.
Gorgeous boat. Love the bright airy beach vibe. Gotta be the cutest sink ever! Thanks for the cheery tour on such a dreary day. After all Nick you are the consummate professional!
I like everything about this yacht, nice layout and flow to it. I would definitely go with the galley below option, I like the light wood as it makes everything look clean and bright. If it was possible I would have a washer drier in that secret cabin then you will not need for anything when out exploring for a couple of weeks. Great tour Nick thank you.
Wow - I didn't see all of that boat coming; there is much more here than I expected to see at first look - from the aft view of the boat. They really need to make the overflow cabin accessible from the (flip-up) kitchen stairs I think - very doable safely with a bit of stairway re-engineering I should think. The emergency escape from a ladder solution doesn't work really. Thanks for pointing out the latches here. Yes, there is nothing worse (? - rephase) - Why two steps when one will latch very nicely.
Once inside you have to marvel at home roomy it all feels. Even the 'stowaway' room has it's facilities for late night use. Brilliant ! For 52' it looks like 70' inside and none of it useless. Thank you again Nick.
nifty little boat. i like the hidden compartments. would personally prefer darker colors in the wood and upholstery but over all not to bad. as always, thanks for the tour Nick, great job as always. cheers from teXas.
That a brilliant boat with ample space at the engine room for throwing some upgrades like sea keeper, stabilizer as boat do need those. All in all that a wonderful boat
Great tour! Sharp lines and quality seems a step up. I'd have to opt for galley up and a lounge / sitting area below. IPS drive. Beautiful helm. It's all here. That timeout cabin would be a great rum cellar.
Hi Nick, Intresting yacht it is this Pardo 52GT on first look a nice day boat or weekender but a longer stay is also possible thats great, The nice sakon below the galley is spaceious 2 cabins and 2 heads with a cozy one in the master there in the bow but that little snuck or over flow cabin under the settee great there wow Thanks Nick great Show to start of the weekend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I really like this yacht, it as a nice layout and flow to it, I like the light wood as it makes everything look clean and bright. I would definitely have the galley below option as well, if it was possible I would have a washer drier in that secret cabin then you would not want for anything when out exploring for a couple of weeks. Great tour Nick thank you.
I do like this boat but that third cabin is awkward, even for storage. I'd probably suggest moving the fridge to be below the hob, lose a galley cupboard and have a decent access/normal door with joint use of the day heads, so more room in cabin without toilet and folding sink, then maybe a folding bunk or small double, converting to more accessible storage if needed. The engine room seemed enormous too. Could a proportion of it be used for accomodation instead? As always though, a fantastic tour Nick, thank you.
Brilliant first time yacht buyer with a small family. It certainly seems quite capable for two to four week cruises up and down the coast that can easily cross the channel for some awesome foreign adventures. Captain, did you forget to close the light after exiting the mother-in-law suite? Nonetheless have a wonderful (dry) week. Oh yes, the anchor closet, nice touch.
Great video as always! Went on a pardo at a boat show last winter. It looks flashy from afar but everything seemed cheap up close. I couldn't imagine getting a good return on price / quality. Just the fact there aren't two screens to have nav and engines up at the same time shows the short cuts taken.
Very well thought out design. I still prefer a Linnsen though, but then, I like to just potter and take my time enjoying being afloat. Great tour as always. Thank you Nick
Great seeing boats in the rain. Happens a lot where I live on Lake Superior in Canada. That boat is a little pricey I feel for what you get. Maybe I’m more of a big water cruiser type of person. Thanks Nick for the tour. Excellent

@@AQUAHOLIC That's an interesting statement, sounds like first-hand experience 😂👍🏻 We are visiting all nine distilleries on Islay, so I guess we will find out. 😉
Since it's mostly a day boat, with really nice accommodations, the galley down makes so much more sense then having a tiny galley up and lounge area down. I'm thinking the hidden cabin would be best used as utility space, vice pretending to be cabin. Put a water maker and Seakeeper down there, still room for storage. I much prefer yacht over dayboat, but really do like this, perfect for long weekend or week away.
It's no Gulf Craft Majesty 175 but Mr Burnham sir for the style of boat this has be designed for I think they've done a great job,but it wouldn't inspire me to go for a fly bridge yacht especially for the money. A great little boat there. Love the flooring. Galley downstairs is the way I would have it. Gives you more living space upstairs then. I wouldn't say no to owning one. I noticed that isn't an auto pilot, is it possible to have one fitted ?. Come to think of it can an auto pilot be fitted to any boat. So could you have one added to Smugglers Blues if you wanted to . As always thank you for taking us on a tour of her Nick
That layout is really clever. I wonder if you could fit another overflow cabin in the galley space if the galley is on the main deck and also is the secret space accessed from that lower sofa area if the galley isn’t there? The engine room size was surprising - bit of a TARDIS this boat. Great tour Nick (as usual) 👍🏻
I love this kitchen, simple, effective and on its own space, I like to prepare meals (and enjoy them too!), the owner's cabin is surprising, the ability to seat close to each other, a glass in hands, in an intimate space even if friends or family is onboard. As well as a big enough shower ;) It seems really well thought for outside social and recreative moments and inside intimate ones, that might also get recreative. I just thought of a new design! Washing machine / dryer (single unit) could be integrated as a seat in the day head or master head. I would do a separate toilet room on 1 side of the master and on the other side a shower room, and in that shower room the washer dryer would have a cushion to make a seat for the shower. And never a crew cabin on such a small boat, just expand the luxury for the owner and their guests (who wants to sleep beside the toilet 😮.
Great presentation Nick, as always! I have a slightly naive question. Where is the ship industry going, it is completely unbelievable that a Pardo like this costs more than a fully equipped Princess F55, which let's be realistic is a much, much better ship primarily in terms of quality and then by general content. How do they determine the price for ship models? Do they draw random numbers from a hat?
