Sounds interesting! Why are the tackle boxes needed? I would lose those separate boxes…LOL!

Think it's just that many pieces bud lol

The tackle boxes help instead of the 100 individual bags for the game lol. We had them around for whatever reason, so I used them for the game. Thanks for watching!

Thanks guys. I have never played this game. I’ve heard, it’s “Terra Incognito” expansion is well received.

Will be on the look out for that expansion! One I have just added the option for a 5th player and 2 more races. Thanks for the tip, and yes the game is a lot of fun! A pain to set up and learn, but fun nonetheless. Thanks for watching!

There is no Terra Incognito expansion for this game. I think you have it confused with Civilization a New Dawn.

It's one of my favorite games to play. Just unfortunate for the length it takes to play the game lol. Thanks for watching!

I love this game. I find it crazy that you think the culture victory is underpowered. The culture event cards that come with this path are extremely strong and often that's how me or one of my friends win. But we use the expansions, so maybe the updates made it a little better

Honestly, the culture victory is great, and the rewards are very OP. However, you can win in 15 turns with tech, while economy is even faster. Military is great, but only with a specific board honestly. As it is, it's just to slow as I can win this in typically 12 turns with economy. Like I said, we adjusted the culture a bit to help with the options for it, but it still the weakest one for us. As it is, I only have the one expansion, which added the possibility of a 5th player. That has never happened lol. What expansions do you play with? Will need to check it out as it's still probably my favorite game ever and would love to get anything to add to it. Cheers!

@@WhoseTurn Im curious to know a little more about your house rules. Might be useful for me.
We play with Fame & Fortune + Wisdom and Warfare expansions. The game is out of print and hard to find. One of the expansions is in spanish because its all we could find for sale.
Fun Fact: Im actually working on recreating the entire game using commercial grade printers for cards and 3D printers for the board and small pieces. Adding magnetic connections and everything. Its in the works but will look better then the original once done

THAT'S SO AWESOME! This is one of my personal favorite games, and while no one else gets as excited as I do to play it, it's still a blast to get to the table. The only house rule we do, is that just like with other resources, you collect the culture each turn as well. So if you have 4 culture around your cities, you get the 4 culture pieces. I've done this, and played actively going for culture, and have never once one with it. As such, we've not played it in some time, so we MIGHT be a bit rusty on the rules to be honest. I also have the Fame and Fortune expansion, but not the Wisdom and Warfare simply because.....no one wanted to play it. You have to let me know how the recreation goes as that would be really cool to see!
