Looks like that blade does the trick! So far we've been able to avoid all the large snowstorms this season! I'm sure we'll get hit in Feb and Mar. Cheers Phil!
Great job on the snow plowing! That one hill seems to be a pretty steep slope to get up in the snow. You have the right tool for the job for sure! Take care!
You got some great shots of your RK blade with that angle of your camera. It was a really nice day here yesterday. At least until late afternoon. We have had a lot of cold this winter. The weather guessers are calling for today to be the last day of sub zero temps for a while. I am not going to be lulled into a false sense of security.
Thanks for watching I would have preferred a Landpride But could not get one The RK is fine for snow but I don’t think it would hold up over time like the Landpride Phil PFON
Finally someone besides myself that knows how to use a back blade without gouging the ground.. the way you are doing it. or going backwards with the back of the blade is the best way from keeping from tearing up the ground and a good way to freeze the ground down beginning of winter thanks for this video
Great job Phil👍 I thank the rear blade is great for long driveways like you just showed. That slide at the end made me nerves but you were rock solid.😁Thanks for the video😁👍
Hi Phil, were you dragging the blade backwards? Looked like when you were going forward you had the cutting edge toward the back. Is this because of having a gravel driveway? Thanks, Jason
Yes because of the Gravel To lazy to change when I got on pavement 90% of what I do is gravel Thanks for watching Jason If you have any suggestions please share ! Phil PFON
It's the best way of doing it first snowfall to freeze stuff down use the back of the Cutting Edge... and I know a lot of people watch GP outdoors and he tries telling people to shorten your top link angle the top your blade toward the tractor it won't cut the ground is much I'm here to tell you been running equipment for close to 40 years anything there is with a blade GP is wrong about that it's just the opposite love GP Outdoors but he is wrong
I could watch tractor stuff all day. Thanks Phil ~ Cecil
