Hey man! I noticed you have an older vid on and auger insert you did on this firebird. I’m really interested to see if the rasp went away! Do you think you could post a slip of you revving it last like 4K rpm?
Hi! So, I don’t have the auger in there anymore. After a couple years it started rattling really bad. I swapped it out for an old glass pack I got for free. So now I’m running two mufflers, but still louder than stock. It’s not raspy though.
@@TheEnragedHawk Oh that’s interesting. Do you think you would make an exhaust sample clip at some point? I know a lot of 3800 guys that want to loose that rasp sound
Mostly great, and still no complaints about the price. I’ve noticed it will warp a little when running the windshield defrosted, but goes back to normal after.
I have been told by several people that they just laid it in place where the old one was and that it fit great. If this one ever cracks and I need a full replacement, I’ll do that.
