@@DOPIllustration Not really. These two are basically the same CPU. The "X" variant is just faster by 200mhz and has better silicone so it might OC better, but that doesn't mean you can't get a non X version of similar quality. I gotta say though. For 3D rendering, It's usually better to rely on your GPU instead of your CPU because GPU's are optimized for graphical computation. That doesn't mean CPUs aren't important for these tasks though. If you have a tight budget, staying with a 5600 is fine. BUT if you have the chance to save up some more. I suggest you buy either the 5700X or the 5800X. If you do 3D rendering and animation as a job, you not only need to be able to do these tasks, every second shaved off is an opportunity for you to do more work in less time. higher resolution puts more load on GPU and less on the cpu which is why he is testing at 1080p. ie lower graphics settings loads the CPU more which is what you want to do to see better the difference in cpu's. You can see in the test the GPU (3090) is not even under full load most of the time which means cpu is bottlenecked. CPU load in video is the average accross all cores, what you really want to see is the max load on the most loaded CPU.
The problem is that cpus often don’t make a massive difference when just playing 1 game, where the big difference comes in is when you have multiple things open at once. For example when you’re streaming a game while in discord suddenly the 5600x will out perform the none x by quite a bit. Just testing performance in a game with nothing else besides some well optimised recording software won’t truly show the big difference between the 2

Personally though I personally think the X is always worth so long as the price difference you find isn’t too big
I think both chips are the same; they have the same potential to clock speed, and AMD just clocks the x a bit higher. Yup, that's pretty much it. You can pretty much overclock the 5600 a little bit and make up for that 200mhz without any issues.
@@MAHDI-kw4pr What about other applications like 3d or animation? is the "X" really worth it?
Which makes the 5700X and 5800X worth it in my opinion. However, if you're doing 3D animation and rendering as a hobby and you're not sure you will be able to get money from it. A 5600 is fine to start out with. If things get serious and you decide you want to do it as a job, you can always just buy the 5700x or the 5800x and sell the 5600. You won't really lose much money since these CPUs tend to keep their value pretty well.

why is the 5600X cooler (1-2 degrees)?!?!
Would the results be same on 1440p?
higher resolution puts more load on GPU and less on the cpu which is why he is testing at 1080p. ie lower graphics settings loads the CPU more which is what you want to do to see better the difference in cpu's. You can see in the test the GPU (3090) is not even under full load most of the time which means cpu is bottlenecked. CPU load in video is the average accross all cores, what you really want to see is the max load on the most loaded CPU.
In Sweden both of these cpus costs exactly the same on sale lol
dude its not 299$ real price is 209$ for 5600x

In my country Turkey, there is a difference of 700₺ between the two processors.
It seems unreasonable to pay this much for the X version.
Çaktırmasana la XD
The problem is that cpus often don’t make a massive difference when just playing 1 game, where the big difference comes in is when you have multiple things open at once. For example when you’re streaming a game while in discord suddenly the 5600x will out perform the none x by quite a bit. Just testing performance in a game with nothing else besides some well optimised recording software won’t truly show the big difference between the 2
