Estava com o mesmo problema igual ao seu! A ficha derreteu, eu fiz o mesmo processo usei limpa contato e fiz um puxo do fio verde e o fio preto. Usei um terminal para fazer a união dos fios, e depois usei uma manga para fazer o isolamento! Obrigado consegui resolver meu problema através do seu vídeo obrigado
Hi buddy I have a 2002 954 headlight won't go on everything else work I have checked everything all fuses on the headlight good the headlight wire harness not the blue connector but the grey connector has one gray wire that's power that's not connected can figure out where it goes maybe this is why it's not working any ideas I will preciate it
Did you trace all the wires back to the harness? If so you need to use and ohm meter or test lights to follow the harness for power. Find the fuse for the headlight and see if there is power to the fuse.

Glad you got it solved. I have a 2002 CBR954RR, 44k miles...getting rdy to check valve adjustment, replace cam chain tensioner and cam chain.
Its a good bike they run strong just gotta keep em in good shape and maintenanced

Where did you get the DIODE from?
Just order the ignition with everything from Amazon but that was not my issue it was in the wiring harness. It's in the other video I posted.
I have no spark on the coil placks
You will have to start at the ignition diode. Make sure that You are getting power there first.
