  • Simple wire wrapped cabochon. You may need to use a full screen view, unfortunately the video came out in small screen because I had the camera view too close. We will be making more. This is one of several ways to wire wrap a cabochon. Please see our other videos to weave a bail or weave a decorative accent. This will show a simple wire bail and accent.

I'm enjoying your videos, especially the ones focused on traditional wire wrapping and wire weaving. You can't ever show enough ways to wrap a cabochon for me, I love to see you do it and learn more from you. Do you ever do entire wire woven cabochon pieces? Do you wire wrap or weave bracelets? I also learned a lot from your liver of sulfur video. I had no idea you could get darker results from the other brand. I've just always used the XL one you normally see. I really want to try Grobet. Does it make silver darker too, like it does with the copper? Sorry for all of the questions, I love your content, can't wait to see more and more!

melissa wood I have an entire weave on the learning page of Facebook Jewelry Design and Techniques. It was a two hour video that is recorded. The link is above in the description section. Sorry the view on this is so small. Thank you for your feedback, I truly appreciate it and it helps me to know what my viewers want 😊

Wire strippers is very misleading. Nylon jaw pliers or nylon jaw straightening pliers is the correct term. Thanks for another great video Cheryl!❤

Thank you for this tutorial. I thought you might want to know that it shows very small and doesn't fill the screen, even on the enlarged focus.

Yes, I was very frustrated when I watched it. I was debating on putting it up or just redoing it. I will be making more and may remove it at that time. Making RUclips videos is still a learning curve for us. The good news is I just installed our new video editing program on the computer so hopefully the quality will improve going forward. Thank you so so much !! Look for more that you can see a little easier soon!!

Not to worry. I'm planning on making some videos and fully expect that I will error.
