This one, probably, is the most BEAUTIFUL Backrooms game among any other. The sky sequence might be the favorite one, it's just so peaceful, so dreamy, just to enjoy the bizarreness of events and ability to sore through the clouds. I am happy, that Insym stayed a bit longer in that section, since many tend to skip sky part straight to the next chapter. I love the whole dreamy take on the creepy Backrooms concept, still keeping the familiar aspect of empty and liminal spaces ❤❤ And the music, gosh, it had no excuses to drop this hard! As for the game story, it's so creative of visiting places where happened disappearances of people, who the main character is investigating. I wish there was more of this game~
I guess this makes sense given the name, but this is a full on dream sequence. First the nostalgic, fun, and floaty dreams that don't make sense but you're having a good time so you go with it anyway. then the weird parking garage phase that creeps you out, but isn't really in nightmare territory. Next we have the trippy car driving dream, followed by the weird school dreams that everyone has had at some point. Finally we dive into the nightmares..... I really hope that the ending was another dream phase (i'm pretty sure everyone has had their phobia dream at some point) because that was a horrible way to end it otherwise. According to the notes (unless there was something missed) and the missing persons report, the individual falls in, 1. dies 2. escapes; and falls into a comatose state..... Didn't the person burying the character check for a pulse?? Unless this person is with that corporation, and is knowingly burying them alive to cover up what's been going on. But that's a pretty ugly conspiracy theory.... To those who've read this all the way through; thanks! Have a brownie or whatever treat you like :)
This is exactly spot on, it DEFINITELY satisfies both concepts well. The backrooms bits are looks at less popular versions of the backrooms, and the dream bits are minigame sections with a very fresh coat of liminal paint. Easily my favourite backrooms game to date.
Whenever I see a video of the Backrooms that includes a pool area, it gives me major anxiety and a sense of deja vu. A long time ago, probably when I was in grade school, I remember dreaming about being lost in this giant pool area. White tiles all the way around, there were 2 long pools each with a different size diving board and then there was a ramp that led into another pool. There was some other game that was released this year that almost had the same exact replica of what I dreamt about. It was freaky seeing it on screen because that dream confused me for years and I've had that dream a couple of times up until I saw it on a youtube video.
I used to have dreams like this before I even knew what the backrooms was. Weird thing is I would find notes, supposedly left behind, I used to think these were left behind by kids like me. But some notes had bug words and writing I couldn't understand. Notes that I can only think back on and understand because I am older or recognize were from other languages. I was like 7 or 8 when I was having these dreams. I remember it used to happen so often that I started writing maps for me to follow. Landmarks and everything. I used to find random objects that I would use to make markings I could follow. I once found a rope, tied it around my waist, and walked to see how far I could get. But I ran smack face first into my own rope. I know it was mine because I tugged it and I stumbled. Whenever I dreamed of this liminal place I would always wake up feeling exhausted and felt the need to sleep longer. It got worse and worse. Sometimes I would wake with sore legs and feet. As if I walked a long time. It stopped once a creature pointed at a set of stairs that ended over the ledge of a cliff. Saying I needed to walk off the edge in order to go home. I did. I never went back to that place again.
Even though this has a high possibility to be fake. I understand dreams causing you to feel exhausted when you wake up. Ever been stung by 1000s of bees in a dream. Shit hurts and makes you feel the pain and exhaustion for hours. Also ever been tortured in your dreams same thing.
@@Bell81208 I have a history of having sleep paralysis and such so no this wasn't fake. I wrote maps and stuff because my child therapist said it would help me have a feeling of control and rationality. They also tried to make it fun for me, making me seem like some explorer, and it really stopped what could have been a terrifying experience. I personally see the creature that guided me as symbolic gesture of my mind. Allowing me to let go by taking that way out and therefore moving past the trauma. I delt with with some PTSD growing up due to incidents I don't feel comfortable disclosing. So that may be a big factor in influencing whatever that was. And yeah, I have had phantom pain from dreams, it's why some people legit d*e in their sleep. If your brain convinces your body something is real it will mimic it. Which is R/ShittyDesign am I right?

being buried underground has to be a huge fear for me because i could even feel the worry and fear in the character- I aren't even playing the game, but i must admit that the best two parts is the pool room and the car area! best Backrooms game ever!
There is a movie "Buried" (2010) with Ryan Reynolds in the leading role. It's the most intense and claustrophobic movie I've ever seen, it plays out in one single location of main character being buried alife in a coffin and communicating through the cellphone, unravelling the story. But it never felt boring, cuz it was so terrifying to the core. Honestly, monsters are not scary, but this REAL concept of being buried alive hits much harder. Never watch it, don't do that mistake 😂 It was fantastic, but fuck I am scarred for life
@@BeastRedAsh Seems scary, I do enjoy horror and some phobias can make a good horror game or movie, I don't think I will watch it but maybe someday I will when i am brave to do so!

Amnesia: Rebirth isn't terrible. It just fails to live up to the original, which everyone should've known is impossible anyway. One starts to wonder if the players just hated playing as a pregnant woman.
when you ralked about not playing rebirth because people say its bad, its not. If you put it as a indie horror game perspective, its really good, ok story, horrifying scares and monsters, but the reason people say its bad, is because its not better than amnesia, its a step down. 37:50 what you made by randomly hitting notes kinda sounds like the inside out theme ps: that level where you run down a red hallway with things chasing you is either called Level ! or Level Run For Your Life depending on who you ask

It would be awesome if you played Security breach! It has such good ambiance I mostly watch for the streamers reactions to the characters and locations
45:05 Yes, it's called "Level !" or "Level Run". It's a long hallway (10km) that you have to run from every entity in. There's supposed to be things to pick up on the way to help you or stall them. If you make it through the exit at the end, you go to a random level and won't ever see Level ! again.
44:51 well kinda but no. A different game did that first. So not really the doors from roblox thingy but kinda maybe perchance, perhaps maybe by a chance.

this game is pretty creative and unique, mixing levels together to create new ones

Insym needs a theme song. Change my mind.
Get an ai to analyze hundreds of horror shows intros songs and jingles then make the "perfect" song
