- Hi everyone, welcome back to the channel! I took out a 54-year old Yashica Lynx 14e rangefinder film camera for a photo walk with friends and did up a slideshow of some more shots I've taken with this oldie (but goodie) camera. check it out!

sorry for the 360p early viewers, YT is taking longer than usual to process the HD.
Thank you for helping me decide to buy this camera
thanks so much for the lightmeter app recommendation, ive been looking for a decent free one in ages
Hope you enjoy it!
Hi, @howpow here. Thanks for the mention.
Cheers, Howard 📷
Thank you good sir! I really appreciate the in-depth video of the Lynx 14e. It'll help a lot of people curious about this amazing camera.
Awesome shots! I had a Yash GT. Id love to shoot film again but film stock prices are madness currently so sticking with instant film for now.
Thanks mate, and yeah love to shoot it but definitely not loving the rising film prices.
Nice vlog! Love ethe energy here!
Many thanks for dropping by Hugo.
@@aykatsing my pleasure!
Hi!! I’m new to film cameras and I just got this camera gifted recently to me. I wanna know, does it need battery for the flash to work? Is there any flash in it? I’m having difficulties in knowing this part 😅
Hello thanks for watching! It does not have a built in flash, and you’ll need to attach an external flash. But the flash mount on top of the camera is a cold shoe and will not communicate directly to a flash when you mount one on. You’ll need a pc cable to connect the flash on the left side of the camera. For better info check out this vid by @St. Louis Photo Authority -- link: ruclips.net/video/mJRZSU6_LOo/видео.htmlsi=WmnKEirb76uivscR
@@aykatsing thank you for this information because I was pretty confused with the flash part 😭 I will be watching the video for sure! Also regarding the light meter, what is the exact use of it? And do you prefer using the app over using the light meter of the camera?
Meron akong yashica electro 35 gtn ang ganda ng output, lalo na siguro to. Grabe thanks for sharing.
Salamat sa panonood! Sa tingin ko halos magkapareho yung lens ng lynx 14E at ng electro 35 gtn. It really shines for portraits lalo na sa headshot at midshot shot wide open at f1.4.
Grabe ang sharp ng lens nila.. I like it more than my dslr. Salamat sa reply
Nice shots in a really nice spot. Where's that place?
This was in Arrowhead Provincial Park...at Mayflower lake
Good day sir! I’m from Philippines. Tanong konlang pano malaman pag working pa yung camera? May bibilhin kasi ako na same ng gamit mo, Yashica Lynx 14E
Hello Paeng thanks for watching. Besides cosmetic wear amd tear, 4 things I’d check 1.) the rangefinder is clear and focusing patch aligns when you move focus ring 2.) check shutter speeds by cocking shutter advance lever and firing it off at every shutter speed 3.) check aperture by putting shutter speed on bulb and firing off shutter but keep shutter button pressed down while moving aperture ring to narrow or widen aperture blades 4.) check light seal on the back flap. But ultimately you’ll have to test shoot it with film to see for sure.
@@aykatsing thank you sir!
