@@TvrtkoBosnjanin thanks. I'm mainly kicking myself because I committed to the piastri build with my wildcard only the race before so to move off what I believed in was frustrating
Yeah! A PPM stream sounds fantastic. I’m also considering dropping NOR this weekend. Moving to RUS. I’d like to be able to switch to Lewis, but that would require a -10 rearrangement unfortunately. NOR >RUS HUL > MAG. sounds about right. Unless Max has a 20 place penalty… but even then… not convinced
I'm not hot on Max at the moment. Red bull are in the dirt for me. A grid pen will get me thinking but I'm not sure it's worth it currently. Hopefully see you on the stream!
I think VER will be a pretty good asset with a 10-place grid penalty. With MCL MER 2x NOR MAG TSU GAS HUL and 3 free transfers, I'm planning on dropping GAS to SAR and NOR to VER. I think MCL and MER are quite fast, but VER should be in the mix for a podium. So on average, VER should score about: Qualifying: 8 points Race overtakes: 10 points Race positions gained: 8 points Finishing position: 10 points Fastest lap: 2 points DOTD: 2 points That's 40 points! Much better than around 30 from NOR or PIA, give or take a few. But if you're on a 2 premium driver lineup and you're rich, it probably won't be worth moving off something like MCL MER 2x NOR PIA GAS HUL SAR to fund VER for a single race punt. But if you're poor like me with only 116.8M it looks like an obvious pick.
@@racing1000 I agree that Verstappen is a good option but I'm not convinced I want him past Spa so currently thinking of keeping a better balance in my team for going forward. It depends how many places he drops because nothing confirmed as of time of writing. At least 10 but I think unless it's back of the grid I might still avoid... We'll see
@@potpanmanF1 Yeah, I think it is very team-dependent. I will probably roll a transfer for no matter who I go with out of Verstappen/Norris/Piastri so I don't think it matters who I choose out of them. Running Verstappen would also require Sargeant, and buying Sargeant seems like the logical step as a budget enabler to afford a 2 premium driver lineup in future races.
Thanks for the video Tom. I had the exact same team as you at Hungary except BOT instead of ZHO - likewise annoyed that I didn't go with PIA or that NOR didn't just win the race! @@dmg8530 yeah, could be wet on Saturday. Sunday looks dry though. I'm worried the MCL won't have good straight line speed so will be watching that closely in practice. Let's hope we get useful info and it isn't just wet running!

Very tough to answer as it depends on how much weight you put into budget building Vs raw points. You could get Russell in that build with Norris but drop the remaining 3 C tiers to the SAR ZHO BOT region (budget drainers) but the other assets will get you the points.
