I have a few Stihl saws, and one of them is an msa220! 16” bar, tool free adjuster that I really like!I have a magnesium pro saw for cutting bigger fallen trees , but I was told the magnesium
Is brittle. This hasn’t been my experience!

The magnesium is just fine until you run it over. But isn’t that pretty much true of most materials?

I have had one of these for nearly 9 years now. Never an issue. It is easy to start. I like the simplicity of this chain adjuster. Perfect for a suburban lot with many trees but not a forest by any means. Always debris to deal with after heavy winds and an occasional tree comes down. So far the largest thing I have had to deal with was about 8-9" in diameter. No sweat. Be sure to get the Stihl sharpening tool. Very easy to use.
