Man all this venom and tension with the dialouge is what truly makes the horde feel well like a horde.
So she lost Saurfang, and Baine's trust. I wonder if Thrall will show up like Jaina did, it feels right for him to reclaim the mantle of Warchief, or perhaps get some sense to Sylvanas before she looses the Horde, could also be Vol'jin. Blizzard had plans for those two and i hope they will use them.
We're very likely to see those in some big role yes, plus, in the "Shadow of the horde" novel it is obviously hinted that Vol'jin can bring back from the dead at will because of his relation with Bwonsamdi, even with his corpse burnt since the powers of a Loa ar beyond that.
I kinda agree with you there, this does have a stench of a Green Jesus comeback written all over it. Just this gut feeling, with the Horde all up divided now, Saurfang outright defecting, Baine openly questioning her - they are caught up between a rock and a hard place. Thrall appearing like a Deus Ex (With perhaps Rexxar by his side, cause Rexxar is simply amazing and he's been a non factor for far too long) might actually turn things around before Sylvanas becomes 100% Garrosh 2.0, cause right now, that's exactly where she's headed, and it doesn't do her justice.

Baine's a bitch and Saurfang is directly responsible for the Burning of Teldrassil by forcing her hand. He even admits it in the novella.
Sylvanas is the only one who seems interested in keeping the Horde alive at this point.

I don't think you get how the blight works. Even though the gas cleared from Gilneas it remains uninhabitable.
I think she merely froze the air that the blight corrupts or blew it all away just so she can clear a path for anduin but in the end that blight spreads shortly after
Gilneas has became more inhabitable to the point the Worgen and the human Gilneans begun to rebuild.
How long ago was it blighted though? Gonna be awhile before anyone can reoccupy that castle.
Ok look.... im a pro horde player but im getting real annoyed that in every other expansion the horde is the one to start shit. Can they switch it up and maybe have the alliance do something to piss the horde off? I hate when they make the horde seem like the bad guys
Newflash; Maybe the reason why the Horde are always the one instigating war is because they ARE the bad guys? In my eyes they've been undisputed villains since they invaded Gilneas, a non aggressive, neutral kingdom, all because the they wanted a new port.
Mel1lvar yet alliance have also done things just as bad but never seem to start a main conflict. They enslaved orcs even at infancy and had concentration camps during the second war. Enslaved some pandarens and forced them to build a warcamp. Are now aligned with the dark iron dwarves who worked with the twilight hammer and summoned ragnaros. Jaina massacred blood elves in Dalaran including innocent shop keepers who had no idea what was going on. And mistreated blood elves during the 3rd war. Shall i go on?
The internment camps were actually a huge act of mercy from the Alliance, an alien horde hell bent on death and war finally beaten and without a homeland? What are they gonna do? Let them off into the wild? Take them in? The orcs had decimated the human kingdoms, not killing them all was an act of restraint from the Alliance. Also probably best to not bring up the first and second wars, Orcs Trolls and Goblins warring against the Alliance, lots of death, not their finest hour. especially considering that note the Iron Horde proves that the orcs didn't need demonic corruption to attempt a takeover of Azeroth, it's basically in their nature to want war
Dark Iron Dwarves were enslaved by Ragnaros until very recently, also lots of races were in the twilights hammer, both horde and alliance, Dark Iron's haven't been enemies of the Alliance for a long time so if you're going to throw that accusation at the Alliance then I'm going throw it right at the Horde. Zandalari Trolls; didn't they try and Help Lei Shen subjugate Pandaria in MoP? Now they want their fleet and their power, what an insult to horde soldiers that died on the isle of thunder, what an insult to the Pandaren, still the Horde gets power so they turn a blind eye, also lets not even get started on the Nightborne.
Finally Jaina was purging Dalaran of horde treachery, the Sunreavers knew about Garrosh's plan involving the divine bell and helped him accomplish it rather than inform the Kirin Tor, compromising it's neutrality. Jaina's reaction was strong but the Horde committed espionage under the nose of the leader of Dalaran right after the they destroyed Theramore, because of their recklessness blame falls to Garrosh and Aethas just as much as Jaina. I could go into detail about the final point about the third war but i've typed too much already, needless to say; Garithos; one general, not the voice of the Alliance.
Alliance aren't squeaky clean, nothing in WoW is, but they're far morally superior to the Horde, it doesn't take much.
J.E.P I agree. When sylvanas was appointed warchief, I had high hopes for her. Then blizzard came and just made syl a lunatic. She was a badass (and still is) but her insanity is just... Wow. And yes I agree that the Alliance could be the one who starts shit from now on cuz in every Blizzard game, the bad guys always loses. And who the fudge wants to play a losing faction?

As a Horde player i approve this. Any honor of calling the spirits to help you, fel and demons, Eulune or the Holy light? Everyone uses what they can and the end is the same - death.
Blight, void, fel, light, elune, loa... Means to an end.
I like how both factions have the man power to just keep throwing themselves into stupid positions getting countless people killed.
Like comon. Has anyone actually done a head count for all the guards in stormwind? Because I know it's less than 1000, which isn't even the size of a Roman legion.
This is why Wow never made sense to me it was always clear the undead couldn't work with anyone else and never should have been worked into the Horde

She kills her own troops. She doesn’t care about honor. She doesn’t care about us, the players, the rest of the Horde Leaders and Saurfang. All she wants is make a huge army or undead Alliance And Horde soldiers to conquer Azeroth. She is the worst Warchief in the history of WoW. Having Baine or Saurfang as Warchief would make everything in that list false. I hope she dies in BfA (and she doesn’t get resurrected again by those Val’kyr). FOR THE HORDE!

It's amazing how brainless so many detractors of this expac so far have been, stupidly claiming Sylvannas has become evil.
She was *always* evil. She has been developing this blight since Vanilla for the same goal the whole time.
To anybody who has half a brain left that still rides this train... How anyone could support Sylvanas as a player is beyond comprehension. Yes, it's true Sylvanas is more intent on survival of the Horde--but she's shown time and time again she is ultimately only concerned with self preservation and has yet to prove otherwise.
She will use the Horde players along with every last member of the Horde as a meat shield until she's left alone with nothing but her reanimated corpses of fallen comrades left as her companions. Saurfang and Baine represent what honor and integrity the Horde stands for. The Blood Elf leader's never done anything, and Gallywix is uh... He's doing...Ah... Well, he's there.
Blizzard have written themselves in to a corner with her just as they did with Garrosh. In truth, I really miss Garrosh. Even though he was in the wrong for his own reasons--he started out as a strong leader with a huge room of potential to grow along with the World of Warcraft as a leader. Sylvanas doesn't have that luxury of being new. She's established well in the lore and has made her malicious intent clear on multiple occasions.
To any people left who read this and still think "Oh, you don't know what you're talking about--you're dumb! Sylvanas is a great Warchief!" No. She is not. She's a heartless, ruthless tactician who will go to any extreme to get what she wants. And as far as she is concerned--every last player of the Horde is cannon-fodder and will raise your carcasses over and over until you're unable to fight any further. Using your very being to fuel her Forsaken war machine.
I love the Warcraft franchise dearly and played WoW since it's inception... But this franchise is dying before our eyes and Sylvanas is Blizzard's way of metaphorically trying to keep it alive through sheer shock value. Legion's end could've really been the ultimate sendoff to the story of Azeroth with the felling of the greatest villain in its lore. But nope.
Blizzard will continue to wring people dry for profit, just as Sylvanas is doing with the Horde in the story now. And it only stops when people do the really smart thing. Stop indulging her and move the fuck on with their lives.

She evacuated the under city so she could trade one destroyed horde capitol for the destroyed alliance one. She wasn't going to hand it over with a bow though the Alliance had to earn it.

The horde is destroying cities, they burned Teldrassil , and blighted Lordaeron/Undercity. Villainous.
InsularesHDxo Teldrassil had it coming. And Lorderon was a strategic maneuver. She could have dealt a heavy blow to the alliance with the death of three of its leaders had Jaina not gotten involved.
How on earth did Teldrassil have it coming? We defeat the legion and the first thing Sylvanas decides to do is mine Azerite and set in a motion a plan to take Kalimdor, a contintent that the night elves prospered on for 10,000 years until that twisted Horde showed up.
If anything it's the Horde that has it coming, Gilneas, Theramore, Southshore, The vale of eternal blossoms, Stonetalon and many many more atrocities committed in the Hordes name, I hope Blizzard give you savages what you deserve in this expansion.
Mel1lvar Night Elves are arrogant and feel like they can pass judgement over everyone. 1/4 of the horde exists solely because of them. Also, seems you're kinda salty since unlike the alliance, the horde seems capable of actually accomplishing the goals they set out to do. Maybe of the night elves spent less time taking naps, and the humans spent less time lording over their assumed authority over Azeroth the alliance might actually be able to do something about us "savages" #forthehorde
Ha, the Horde are good at accomplishing their goals because they have no principles, they like to talk of honour but that honour goes out the window when they want to achieve something. Lets look at the Hordes 'honorable' actions shall we?
Invaded the neutral, non aggressive kingdom of Gilneas using chemical weapons on civilians; check.
Enslaving a Naaru, a being pure light who fought the legion, siphoning off it's power to practise holy magic; check.
Live experiments on humans in the Undercity to create the blight; check.
Goblin suicide bombers in the barrens; Check.
Weapon of mass destruction dropped on Theramore (the same city that helped the Horde lay roots on Kalimdor); check.
Using the neutral Kirin Tor to sneak into Darnassus; check
Desecrating the vale of eternal blossoms; check.
and many, many more.
Maybe the Humans and Night Elves judge the Horde because they deserve to be judged, the Horde has no honour and has always been the villains, basic gameplay mechanics saved you savages in MoP and a few years later you're back to your war mongering ways again.
There can never be peace on Azeroth while your twisted Horde exists, I main hope is that Jaina kills Rexxar and Thrall, that'd put the Horde scum in there place.
