No one has built a bridge because the Brazilian civil engineering is garbage. Also, most of the areas in Amazon are remote areas, except by the state capitals and some small cities. So there's no economic reason to spend money in a giant bridge if don't have much place to go(which I find wrong, more areas in Amazon should be populated so would be easier to monitoring deforestation).

It is just an wonderful experience being in the largest rainforest with so many animals. And just hopping to see a jaguar, but not too close. The best experience in nature
You guys look so happy in this video! Its written in your faces what you thought about that experience! Anyone who likes nature feels this way when they know the Amazon Jungle!
If you're in Manaus, visit MUSA ( its a forest reserve, they have guided tour in english and an observation tower you can go to). If you have extra time, check out Presidente Figueiredo Waterfalls, its on a neighbour city and its amazing
Kudos to you guys... This is an opportunity you have to do something that 95% of Brazilian citizens (myself included) will likely never have the chance to, ever! You rock!
Hey guys, i hope you u guys read my comment...What you two are doing is really amazing! I love how you guys are so positive all the time! Im a brazilian living in Florida at the moment and love watching you guys videos!! Keep on posting them!!!
Hello, I am Brazilian. I am very happy that your experience for my country is being the best possible. I am very sad when foreigners are going to walk around and have some problem.
Hiya guys, It"s an amazing nature preserved trip of a lifetime deffo it'll be in my wishing list for upcoming trips!! Keep the vídeos coming, the best travel youtubers by far!!
Oh my goodness, Ashley, you are too cute! 😄 I'm happy for you to cross this off your list. I'd make use of the animal log book, too haha That boat is the real deal--just wow! I didn't know what to expect, but it's very nice. We're cruisers, so I'll have to check out their website. The hike you did looked super cool. I love how informative it was regarding the local flora and fauna.
Laura it was absolutely amazing and I would be so excited if you were able to experience it as well. If you are truly interested we’re trying to work out a trip later in the year to go with viewers on the same boat. We plan to explain and announce our plans soon as long as we can come to an agreement with the company.

I don't think a lot of people realise how massive the Amazon river basin is, it's HUGE! No wonder no one has built a bridge across it!
If you want a functional bridge during the rain period, this bridge should have ~27 miles
I saw one and it's huge - 11km (Ponte Jornalista Phelippe Daou - Manaus/AM). But they don't need bridges over there, the road is the river.
@@reinaldojosemoreira This bridge is not over the Amazon river, it's over Rio Negro
You're right@@hemrique3. Sorry my mistake... The connection between two are in few KM down river.
