I find that she, Kristen Welker seems to pander to her Republican guests. She seems to hold Democrats to a different standard when she questions them. She is so fake, in my opinion, and I felt that Adam Schiff wasn't playing her game. He wasn't rude, as he demonstrated the requisite politeness that one should, no more and no less. Senator Warnock, I believe, because he is a minister and practices what he preaches, found it natural to be effusive with her.

Ever since Tim Russert passed away, this Meet the Press show has been awful. All of their hosts since then pale in comparison to Russert. Kristen is probably the worst one. She's absolutely clueless and doesn't challenge guests when they lie right in her face.

I notice how he never answers the question. I also notice how the person interviewing him never holds his feet to the fire on this.

That seems ironic since one of the complaints about this interview is that she kept asking the same questions over and over, which she would need not do if Lindsey actually answered them. The interviewer cannot force them to respond to the questions.
If there IS a formal debate between Trump and Biden, I hope they set up an OFF switch on the microphones! Trump just can't control himself; someone needs to be able to turn him OFF!

I had never thought about that, states having more than two senators based on population, until my nephew mentioned it, and now you. However, these people can't seem to get much done, so why pay more people to do nothing. In my opinion, there are only a few lawmakers that ran for office out of a genuine concern to help people. What VOTERS deserve is to KNOW whether or not "45" is guilty of a crime. At the very least, the FL and DC cases need to be tried and, if not televised live, then recorded for history and viewable after the fact but before the election by voters that want to be informed voters.

What is your point? In primary debates, you are not debating people from the opposing party. Trump didn't need to debate other Republicans because he got the nomination without debating them. However, in order for Biden to have a chance of beating Trump, he needs to debate him and demonstrate his strength. If he avoids the debates, it will show his weakness, and Trump will use that to his advantage, making it difficult (if not impossible) for Biden to win.
@fozzir My point is, out of the 2, Trump is the only one who has a pattern of skipping debates. Trump skipped debates in 2020 and all the primary debates in 2024. He is most likely to skip a general election debate because of his actions.

The original legislation for Ukraine aid was Lend/lease 2023. Calling it a loan is fine, but I don't recall Russia paying us back for the aid that they received during WWII under Lend/Lease. Just send the damned aid.
