What’s impossible to deny is the console looks very different to the correct OEM manual console, and indeed the setup they use is very different to the OEM setup on the mechanical side too.

When your driving license is a critical part of your job, you don't fuck around with driving fast on the roads. Same for me, if I want to drive Vmax, there are unrestricted Autobahns nearby. I don't speed on the limited roads.

It's a bit weird Tim talking about how enormous the 599 is and taking it out for a drive, when it's 10cm narrower and 30cm shorter than a Purosangue, and Kansas roads have much wider lanes than Britain.
Tim I hope this is on your wide radar: 1000+ bhp hybrid Corvette Zora development (2026-27?) because test cars are being tested alongside two SF90 examples. An American SF90 would just rattle some cages (and windows) and it just might be under $200K.
I love manuals, I've had 2 manual 360 still have 1, but having driven both the 430 in manual and the 599, the fact that they drop the revs IMMEDIATLY to 0 when you press the clutch, makes them less enjoyable to drive than the gated modena.
Gotta learn to heal toe. Or at least throttle blip between shifts. Or up shift faster. Sounds like you have manuals but dont know how to drive a manual 🤦🏻♂️. I’ll explain. Down shift when you put in the clutch, inbetween the tike it takes to go 3 to 2 you tap the throttle a little to match the rpms to vehicle speed in gear. Some its smooth and doesnt grab and burn ur clutch up or cause u to lose control around a corner. Upshifting just put in the clutch and shift up fast and it wont be a issue. They have schools to give you lessons. Think it would help.
And fast revving car is a good thing. And see how shmee said you have to shift fast. Then he gets the hang of it and says how good it is. Just learning bud. You’ll get there
Was there 4 pedals or am I mistaking something that looks like 4th pedal? If it does, what does a 4th pedal do? I tried to look it up but really couldn’t get an answer, except there were some on older cars.
Conversion kits will be available again. There are companies working on it. Market is too large to leave it alone. 355, 360, 575, 599, 612 all will be done in large numbers simply because how it feels to drive manual box car. When expensive F1 mechanism eventually fails it almost makes financial sense to do conversion even if resale value do not change.
If I could afford to buy and upkeep your Ferrari as a manual I would too. However in essence changing it to a manual would actually make it slower? We couldn’t shift as quick as a computer, but I suppose you could wind it out, maybe swings and roundabouts. Anyway, long live the manual!!
