Rise Up & Act: Youth for Change - Dare to Say Yes! Youth Summit #2

The Wall Las Memorias (TWLM) invites all youth from Los Angeles County to our second Rise Up & Act Youth Summit. Our youth participants of the RUAA program will host its second Youth Summit under the theme “Dare To Say Yes,” to promote harm reduction strategies, healthy coping mechanisms and substance use prevention among young individuals in LA County. This summit will highlight the importance of mental health and its intersectionality with substance abuse. Our goal is to engage youth by acknowledging that substance use is prevalent in our communities and help them navigate their own real world experiences through a trauma-informed lens to find healthier coping mechanisms.
The summit will feature a panel discussion with guest speakers, appearances by special guests, and giveaway opportunities that you won't want to miss! Join us for the opportunity to share your knowledge and experiences on how to overcome mental health barriers and foster wellness in our communities. For youth ages 12 to 26 and their families/caregivers in LA County.
