Hello Mexicans living in East Los Angeles. Please read his seriously. In over thirty years of existence, I never met a Mexican American who was grateful to be an American and today is not going to be any different, even if he or their children prospered in the U.S. Instead they just talk about how great Mexico is and so forth. If anyone did the research of the history of US-Mexico relations (too long to discuss here), you will see why where there is nothing for which to cheer. For the children of immigrants, they can never have a bad comment about Mexico, their ego won't allow it. Instead they play fantasy about a real nation (not just a heritage concept) that they have never lived as if it was El Dorado. It gets worse when children are now teenagers and their positive opinion is now hard as concrete. So residents of East Los Angeles what do you think. I know you people are very ungrateful to the United States. Happy on Mexican Independence Day and quiet on the fourth of July. That's for sure. Use this opportunity to comment.
