Nice review Ben, it looks like a great headtorch. I'm still using my 800 lumens one from Chilli Tech, it's well worth getting a really bright one for when you need it. In my case it's when I'm coaching our club Juniors and I've got to keep them safe :)

This Head Torch looks very, very good. Considering it as an option for my ultras. However, I definitely need, at least, one extra battery. Do you know where to find an extra battery? Is it possible to replace the battery while keeping the case? Or, do you know if the lamp works with 3rd party batteries or battery packs, since the connector looks similar to other brands or battery providers? Thanks for the great video.
Hi Jorge. I am glad that the video was useful to you 😊👍 The torch really is a great bit of kit for sure. Extremely pleased with how it performs. You can get generic 3rd party spare batteries online which use the same waterproof connections. Also you can use the cable extension to put the battery pack in your vest while you run and then you can connect a battery bank to the battery and charge on the go giving you an extremely long lasting battery. That looks alright , I had some Fenix torch which actually decent but misplaced it somewhere so I have been using a cheapy Nitcore UT27 this winter which in reality does me alright . I might give that a try though incase I ever get around to doing any longer night runs .

Time of the year when they get the most use so I thought it would be good to share my experiences just in case people are in the market for a new one. I got sent the Moonlight to test and it's a wicked bit of kit. It's 5 torches in one thanks to that GoPro mount and it's reasonably priced too which is good. Plus it's Kilians torch that he won Hardrock, UTMB and Western States in. 😊👍
