      As an American I say bravo Aussies. The plane is really impressive.
      Ability to “quickly” field an E-3 replacement is amazing! Without needing to initiate a long development stage, it just needs to be configured for USAF standards. I’m excited to see this fly over here!

      the E-3's stupid spinny dome was way out of date anyway. we were long overdue for an AESA early warning radar and the E-7 was perfect. thanks aussies!

    • @bwickham195
      @bwickham195 8 лет назад +10

      The interior would have been declassified for the video, and the video would have been checked and approved before releasing it. I'm guessing when your group visited this wasn't the case, so they couldn't let you inside the hanger.

    • @scrappy673
      @scrappy673 5 лет назад +2

      They would have declassified the interior, However, the thing that is classified and they cannot show is the classified capabilities onboard, Notice how all the screens are blanked meaning the Ground Power Unit is either off or the Utility or Battery switch is not on.

      You obviously didn't get the sarcasm
      The inference was
      That some people who were obviouly Australians
      Were calling Nelson out for using the American word
      "Flashlight"
      For a hand held battery operated light
      Australians call a Flashlight a Torch
      I was being Facetious
      Im sorry you took it so literally
      Only aussies or the english would get the joke
      As they would have understood that to torch something
      Is to burn it with a torch
      I should not have assumed
      Everyone would know that you cannot have a flame on an Aircraft
