The YT dislike plugin builds a database of dislikes from users of the plugin. It no longer connects to the YT like/dislike API since that data is no longer publically available. The vast majority of the time the app actually UNDER reports the amount of dislikes. So that ratio is more than likely FAR worse than what is even being reported from BOTH sides.

I don't know about the app's accuracy, however, we can use the comment section to get some kind of indication of the video's reception. Given the fact that (1) The comment section has tons of negative comments (mostly about the general situation, not about the particular video), and (2) there are claims that Mr. Beast is deleting comments (so the number of negative comments should be even bigger), I think we can safely conclude that many of those people would also press dislike and therefore that the dislike number should be huge.

The thing is, we've seen this so many times in the past... The internet is going to swarm him with dislikes until they get the response that they want out of him. That's how this works and that's how we know that the dislikes are incorrect.
Let's be clear, here: if the "app can't be trusted", yet we can SEE AT LEAST over 1 million views, then we know that FAR MORE MANY PEOPLE have disliked it, so that "1 million" number is going to be MUCH higher
@@higherfirer ffs read how the formula works on the plugins description. it just makes up a number based on the ratio of users using the app and likes a video has, but it gets skewed by people who dislike controversial stuff being mainly those who want to install it. even most people who used the plugin pressed LIKE on the video and not dislike (otherwise the dislikes would be higher than the likes on the plugin). in the past youtubes api would still give the actual dislike amounts but it hasn't been like that since ages. for old videos that were around back then they seeded with the last public number into their database. and yes you're giving your viewing habits data to a random 3rd party glubbitigook company by using the plugin.
Just statistically speaking, for Keem to be accurate, literally everyone that is disliking the video would have to use the extension, while i can see how that number would be higher, 98% is basically unreasonable compared to what it shows. The app to bring back dislikes also has 5 million users, so it's not like it's going to be massively off statstically either, that is a decent enough sample size to have a fairly accurate result most of the time, but to have this bad of a result is basically impossible.

@@kkittycatkat1990 RUclips don't have any say in what the dislike plugin displays, they do their own calculations based on stats calculated based on dislike plugin users, if the stats are being messed with, the easiest way to do so would be for mr beast supporters to start spinning up fake RUclips accounts, downloading the dislike plugin and liking the video in an attempt to change the like to dislike ratio that the plugin is guessing the full dislike count from, the sample pool they are using is probably a couple of thousand so not impossible to be manipulated

The YT dislike plugin builds a database of dislikes from users of the plugin. It no longer connects to the YT like/dislike API since that data is no longer publically available. The vast majority of the time the app actually UNDER reports the amount of dislikes. So that ratio is more than likely FAR worse than what is even being reported from BOTH sides.
Most people are sheep led astray.
The app wouldn't be necessary if RUclips wasn't always silencing the users.

If he gets more views than usual, the only reason would be, that he got exposed. So the extra views would be from people, who are angry at him, and just come to leave a dislike and maybe a negative comment -> he got a lot more dislikes, than he admits

Yup. I was there. There were TONS of negative comments! They were figuring out ways to get their messages through without being deleted. The block method worked very well ... for awhile.

I don't know about the app's accuracy, however, we can use the comment section to get some kind of indication of the video's reception. Given the fact that
(1) The comment section has tons of negative comments (mostly about the general situation, not about the particular video), and
(2) there are claims that Mr. Beast is deleting comments (so the number of negative comments should be even bigger),
I think we can safely conclude that many of those people would also press dislike and therefore that the dislike number should be huge.
This guy is wrong but is not his fault, is RUclips, the dislike button was taken away to protect brands, people, activism and mostly bad things, give the heat to YT

it just makes up a number based on the ratio of users using the app and likes a video has, but it gets skewed by people who dislike controversial stuff being mainly those who want to install it. even most people who used the plugin pressed LIKE on the video and not dislike (otherwise the dislikes would be higher than the likes on the plugin).
in the past youtubes api would still give the actual dislike amounts but it hasn't been like that since ages. for old videos that were around back then they seeded with the last public number into their database. and yes you're giving your viewing habits data to a random 3rd party glubbitigook company by using the plugin.
Just statistically speaking, for Keem to be accurate, literally everyone that is disliking the video would have to use the extension, while i can see how that number would be higher, 98% is basically unreasonable compared to what it shows.
The app to bring back dislikes also has 5 million users, so it's not like it's going to be massively off statstically either, that is a decent enough sample size to have a fairly accurate result most of the time, but to have this bad of a result is basically impossible.
Keemstar is one of the worse people on the planet.
