Beautiful ship and engine. But it's a pity that the interior of the accommodation is not visible in the video. I'm curious about that. Are there sleeping places, cooking facilities, a toilet on board?
I would give my left arm and both testicles to own this boat. What a sweetheart if an engine. Those low RPM engines are very fuel efficient and will run forever. Not a bad price at all for a vessel that is capable of going anywhere.
@@-BUFFALOMan I was simply making the point that that type of engine is very fuel efficient. And I know those engines very well and the one in this boat is probably 200 HP at most so theres no other engine it could be powered with that would be more efficient. My father was a tug skipper and I literally grew up on tugs and worked on them all my life. I'm 65. I think I know what I'm talking about.
@@-BUFFALOMan also this is a very small tug. It would get much better fuel consumption than about built for pleasure of the same size. Your a perfect example of why its unwise to assume.

You're so right, mind you I would not give up my testicles for anything lol.
@@brian.7966 I had a change of heart on the testicles. I used to have a 65 foot wood tug with a very similar engine. It was a enterprise 200 HP.
@@-BUFFALOMan heavy duty low RPM diesel engines are the most fuel efficient diesels ever made. I know I've had 4 tugboats that were powered by them.

really nice wee boat , but really its just a floating engine and gear box .
But they looked so proud. As they should.
@@lessharratt8719 totally agree , but a '' mans'' boat , you wont be cruising one of those with the wife and kids .
I bet it has that great old greasy smell in the engine room.
@@scdevon nothing quite smells like a hot engine room.
would be better to take out old engine and put in some vw tdi, way smaller and quiet too
