I came across this video last year while browsing the internet to learn more about my field after passing my ASCP exam. Although I was certified, I wasn't working in the field at the time. I started working in the field this year and remembered this video. I wanted to rewatch it to gain insights on how to excel in my role. I’m disheartened to find out that he passed away. I had even planned to email him for advice on advancing as a Medical Laboratory Scientist. I’m really saddened by this news as though I know him personally. May he rest in peace.

UK's process might not be short Nanelle, it depends on how fast you get a job. The registration is fast but getting a job has no time frame. It might be short or long. Mine was short

@@israeldare3825 ok I get you. Another option is to come for Msc Biomedical science so he can come into the UK. He can also come in via any other legit route. He will contact the institute of biomedical science asking how he can become a registered Biomedical scientist in the Uk. Most likely he will do some top up modules etc They can explain better It's a process but it can be achieved. One beautiful thing about the UK is the ability to switch career. It might take time but it is possible.

I know 2 doctors recently who came on the limelight (social media) giving medical advice, all died in car accident just months after starting to appear online. This world is wicked😢
Like Nanelle said, people got scared of Ielts because you hear a lot of people saying it's difficult. So that fear will make people fail it. Whatever you approach in this life with fear, you'll likely fail. That's it
@@israeldare3825 people don't fail cos of fear, they fail cos of unpreparedness and thinking its the normal way we answer questions in an English class. The guided skills by British council, if followed will get even a secondary school student passing the IELTS.

Some people underrate it thinking it's just normal English but I can tell you precisely from confession frm the mouth of 2 people who did and failed then did again and passed. They both said they were scared at first and that fear was in them all through their preparation but when they faced it and did thorough training with positive mind they did excellently. So I think it's both reasons affecting different people.
My çourse of study is suppose to be a double honor certification because we did anatomy, physiology etc and also medical devices instrumentation courses.

Kindly look in to the ASCP international route, it will give you better understanding of your credential equivalance. But you must be ready to take the exams first before you can be allowed to work in any laboratory in the US
