What a great "Tell All "interview. I followed your shows on Blue network back in 1976 when you'd come on Saturday mornings to host playing new songs. Cliff Richard then released "I'm nearly famous" lp. You played much of his songs including Devil Woman, You got to give me all your loving. a hit song from that album. Youd say, dont buy pirate records because they don't sound good. You also played David Bowie "Station to Station" album especially "Golden Years". You spoke very good English back then for a Malaysian Chinese on radio as a DJ. You still do the same today. I remember that year itself, in 1976, you had to leave the radio show and you said, "Every good thing must come to an end". And it was sad you left that show you started well in 1976. I just hope you won't be convicted in November case. Good to hear from you. Take care and stay away from making risky comments. It is Malaysia, unfortunately. We must live by the rules unfortunately. Keep in touch! And stay strong with the grace of God. Cheers!

I used to listen to Radio 4 back in the 90's and Mr Patrick Teoh was one of my favs. His session was informative and he always play a nice selection. Circa 1994, if I'm not mistaken, he loved to tell his listeners what he discovered on the internet. Subsequently, that was when I knew what the internet was all about, from Mr Patrick Teoh, way before my late father got us our first dialup internet in 1997. 😄

I remember when I was 7 yrs old, my brothers would tune in to the radio on Sundays on a famous show where he talked about movies I think and his signing-off catch-phrase " Sunshine & Blue Skies" always remained with me. So, thank you to Patrick Teoh for the memories. I also remember him telling us somewhere that his language came about by watching movies. Msia never produced a Patrick Teoh again.

The man & the voice .. started listening to him every sunday when it was Blue Network in the 80s .. he would be broadcasting the show ..Kee Huat Facts and Fancies followed by Constance Haslam .. then the 90s were the midnight ghost story , i remembered the vampire interview , everyone stayed glued to the show . There was once also a guy called in in the middle of the show telling Patrick he was in the cemetery grounds trying to summon the ghost for number purpose ( LOL ) , can hear prayers at the background .. then suddenly he was screaming with a howling ladies voices at the background and the line will get cut . It was great times ! Thanks for the interview .

Have always admired you and still do but deep down you are not convinced for your children to stay in our once harmonious paradise called Malaysia. Like so many fellow former Malaysians, we seem to be heading to a very uncertain future. Left 40 years ago, no regrets but lots of nostalgic memories of our once undivided country. From a former Malaysian born in Lumut and raised in KL.....

I really did envy you during that time as you had a clear booming voice and such good english. How did you manage to talk such good english Patrick? I also did attend many functions where you were the MC. Time really flies, isnt it. Now we find ourselves in the 70's in age. Please do take care and stay healthy.

Unfortunately, a Malaysian Malaysia is considered seditious in Malaysia, and has been since it was first uttered by Lee Kuan Yew in the 1960s. Singapore was lucky to leave Malaysia and I remember in 2013, in an interview published in The Straits Times, LKY said that Malaysians form about 40% of the population of Singapore. However, the Singapore government later "corrected" it to say that the 40% referred to the total foreign population in Singapore who were non-Singaporeans. Singapore's population is about 5 million and in 2023, the Malaysian government said that about 1.89 million Malaysians had emigrated to Singapore. In 2011, a World Bank report stated that a million Malaysians had emigrated to Singapore by 2010, with 90% of them of Chinese Malaysians. In about a decade, the rate of emigration from 2010 to 2022 had almost doubled.

    "small town like Ipoh..😅"
Perak was a key tin-mining state and Ipoh was the hub. And tin exports were key contributor to the country then.
As much as Patrick is/was a radio legend, his judgements (esp political views) are not necessarily the best.
