- This is a review of the upcoming LEGO Ninjago Set 71748 Catamaran Sea Battle, from the upcoming "The Island" wave, based on Season 14 of the show.
This set contains 780 pieces, 6 minifigures, and will retail for $69.99 in the United States. Minifigures included are:

There’s a reason Kai has 2 boats, it’s been confirmed since at least season 5 that Kai is terrified of large bodies of water (aqua phobia sorta). So he’s more adjusted to use vehicles instead of swimming.
Personally I'd prefer if all the pieces went into the villain vehicle but it's still quite good

Love the feel of this set, if there was an exclusive figure like Twitchy Tim more people would probably pick it up

The most underrated but amazing set from Lego Ninjago just because the Minifigures 😔🤘

Ok so I watched the unboxing like 8 hours ago it was 9 at night for me then a couple hours later the jungle dragon review was released it was like 11 or something, hen I fell asleep and woke up 2 hours later, I watched RUclips for a while, and then this comes up and to top it all off I have school now

I love this set too(all season 14 sets I love). Getting Catamarans is awesome and they did an excellent job making one look homemade and the other built with a lot more resources. Also nice this one includes Jay because he is to be captured. Also great to include the Chief and the Thunder Keeper. It may cost more but I say it's worth it.

Perhaps in the next review could you put one of the geckles next to a keeper do we can see the difference?

I hope to get this set mostly for the minifigs and the Keepers' catamaran.
This is an amazing set. One of the best Ninjago sets ever. Great color contrast between both models, great color (display quality). Also a battle set with the villains being more represented, which is great for play since the Ninja are overpowered.
The Sail for the villains LOOKS LIKE GODZILLA XDDD
has anyone noted that since season 11 jay's eyebrows have gotten from brown to light brown
We did get the purple spring shooters in the Ender Dragon set
What if the creature on the sail is the water creature that they encounter in season 15

Hey, this set is on offer in my toy shop, so should I get it? The other sets that are in offer are Crystal King, City Space station and Kai's evo Dragon
I got all the sets from this wave except for lloyds motorbike for 150 € and they are all amazing, i reccomend a lot this set in person is bigger and is amazing

I love the kai catamaran it looks awesome but you are right I would love to see a jay or cole catamaran
I feel that you’re really underrating Kai’s suit. It’s the most detailed Kai suit we’ve gotten in a while in my opinion
I think the keepers catamaran looks kinda like a barracuda

The blue that you mentioned is not blue but TEAL. Its a mix between blue and green. Just letting you know for future reviews 😉.

I’m not a fan of the purple they used on these villain figures. I wish they used the purple from the Anacondrai figures but it is what it is. Everything else about this theme I like tho...

The creature on the catamaran is probably supposed to be Wohira, the sea serpent. It's also on the box art and as a statue in the Keeper's Village.

I actually didn't or wasn't a fan of this set and its actually starting to grow on me. Will buy this on my birthday after all the other ones.
the villain vehicle is really cool and ID LOVE MORE
but i wish it was its own thing cause 70 is pricy and in the end im just getting half of the wave

We had another ninja boat. The evil green ninja boat from city of Stiix.
I think the creature is Wohira. I am not sure, but I think that the sea monster on the flag and the monster head on the front of the villain boat is Wohira.
The creature is probably a representation of jungle dragon
Okay so Kai’s backprinting is boring and jay‘s is nice but ther literally the same except Jay having a strap and the different colors of course 😂

I don't really agree with the complaints about kai having boats, in terms of the story kai isn't a fan of water so to me at least it makes sense.

Actually the purple lightning came in a trolls set
To be honest I don't like the Kai's katamaran.It looks awful.I don't know how they put this thing in this nice set and make it my least favourite set of this wave.Probably the figures are not bad but you can. get them in other better sets.Next make the Jay's electro mech
