    The vision idea’s fascinating. Wondering if you’re able to design one like a periscope using mirrors and prisms for the phone’s camera.

    have you considered using metal bearings instead of the plastik ring for stability?
    i know it will add to the cost but if this can provide longtern stability perhaps it is worth it?

    Hi mate, I love your work! It's incredible. I will eventually watch all the videos you made. You certainly stand out from all the rest. Another guy, who caught my attention, uses ai to get his robot to do tasks. I want to merge the two together, or at least try. I am at the beginning of my journey, so there's much to learn. I am torn by your design, and the Mars inspired Rover (with wheels). I have two massive questions if you would be as so kind to help. How to you use you phone, especially using all the sensors? What model Android do you use? I can't wrap my head around how you used your phone as the main source to control the beast. Okay, there were sub questions for that one :-) Can you use your prints and get the parts made from, say, thin aluminium, or any other metal that might be more appropriate? Not sure if it's possible, but, I would imagine it would make it more durable outside. I brought many great parts to get started with the foundation. Sorry for the essay!

    • @MakeYourPet
      @MakeYourPet  Год назад +1

      Hi there and thank you for your interest. The software on the phone is a typical android app. You can find all the information you need about using the sensors and the usb port on the official Android website. You can use any Android phone that you like as long as it is Android 6 or higher. You should be able to use aluminum parts, which would be sturdier. But plastic materials such as ABS or PETG are also very durable and totally usable in outside environment, and are much easier to work with compare to metal sheets. Definitely consider joining my Discord server if you have more questions.

    • @MakeYourPet

      I would say Chica it too big for these servos, as they don't have enough torque. A new design for Chipo is coming very soon which I think looks very nice, so wait for that.
