- Since it has been a while since I uploaded a video. I just wanted to post a video to let everyone know that I'm not dead or something.. I've been busy with life, but I'll get back to this hobby again and hopefully post something new and creative related to hexapod robots. -Zenta.

Oh man, I remember watching your videos 10 years ago in my high school library, the era when hexapods and quadrotors were a hobbyist fad and not even mainstream products yet. I suppose it's only been 2 years since your last upload, but still. This channel and your robots are very nostalgic to me.

Seeing those critters always brings a smile to my face. That might change one day when they are 5m tall and armed and we have to fight them in the inevitable robot uprising, but for now, I think they are cute :3

I've always loved these things when I was younger and would want one but just wasn't able to build one (or buy, don't know if that's possible). But I have access to a lot of more things now, like a 3D-printer and a lot of tools. Is there any way I could build one of these myself? A tutorial maybe?

Looks great! Which servos did you use? In my project I used SG90 9G and my (4 legged) spider ended up being shaky.

It looks like you have gaits with 5, 4, and 3 feet on the ground at a time. Would it be possible to do a 2 foot ripple gallop? I imagine you might need some much more complicated controls for that, since it wouldn't be inherently stable anymore.
