I had the VHS tape of this rave, it got ‘ vanished ‘ during life , moving house etc. To listen to it again in the dark through headphones... shit , really touched me, brought back so many great memories, great days , when I wasn’t walking around on crutches, needing spinal surgery. I wonder how that is achieved during a live performance as potentially, the vocalist could scream really loud and damage folks ears . When , I was recording some music, I used to sit in front of volume indicator lights , unfortunately my Tascam Portastudio. 4 track device wire out though.

Some of my favourite old tunes do sound very tinny or distorted though. The production quality on this album is actually very good for 1992.

I was 12 years old when this shit happened. I wish I was old enough to go and have probably one of the best experiences of my young adult life. I got a taste of the Rave seen when it was dying off, that was something special for me, I can only imagine just how amazing it would of been when it was brand new and the whole country was doing it. Wonderful!

I had (still have) the cassette and VHS (live footage from The Showcase) of this in '92 as a 12 year old, and they ended around the 45 min mark of this vid. Hardly any of the album is my style (pretty much just Worldwide Epidemic (i.e. a pandemic, lolz)) and yet I loved and love every song. Even today, a tear comes to my listening to this. Every song on Side 2 sounds like a perfect album closer song, but then they come one after the other, making the whole side the perfect closer.

This was brought out in connection with The Showcase in Bath, 27/11/92 as most of the tracks were played or PA’s performed them..... what a great night it was and my fourth Fantazia event, all awesome and the China Whites helped a lot...... had been part of the scene religiously every weekend since mid 1988...... within a year of this event the scene had become fragmented and full of plastic ravers and rip off artists..... Peace. Love. Unity. Respect was the ethos that the movement was based upon and not to mention the extortionate price of a night out compared to the free parties of the early days !!! 👌👌👌🐝💤🐝💤🐝💤🌈😎

I’m in the red puffer waistcoat with a ponytail but you can see me in the other event footage..... we were living the best year of my life in 92 but the scene became everything it shouldn’t have been and what it was not meant to be about..... saw my first rave fight and another friend robbed of a bag of pills by a Rasta in a long raincoat with a machete..... inside the NYD 1993 event at Obsession in Wormelowe (1/1/93) and knew then that it was a downward spiral from there on in ..... and we had such high hopes for a better world with rich and poor, black and white of all classes as one in a rush of peace love unity and most of all mutual respect ✌️✌️✌️🌈🌈🌈🤪😜😛😝🤩😎
