This is why kids in the 90s weren't running around stabbing each other for fun like now! What a decade. What a set.... YOUR ABOUT TO TAKE, YOUR ABOUT TO TAKE ..... TAKE THAT L.S.D
I'm 53 allready but i'm still freaking out when i'm listen to this... and i do that for more then 33 years... 'My father is a cool oldskool raver' say my kids at school... You can take a man out of the rave but not the rave out of the man👊🏻
This set and slipmatts were the Pinnacle of this event for me. However the whole Event was just brilliant and needs celebrating in the archives of music
I never tire of hearing Kev Bird and This is a trip (8.57) what an anthem, i feel compelled to raise my hands in the air.....which can be embarrassing at work.
Get in!! I was there and freaked the hell out when it all went quiet and a lady came onto the stage demanding that her son came off the ceiling. Cue the lights at a body shaped object attached to the tent roof wrapped up in cling film. A "WTF" moment indeed! Ahhhh the 90's :D
im 47 now and if this music and the comarardary of ravers back then in the early 90s came back im sure it would end up in my divorce. ellis dee what a dj not to mention all the other great djs too many to mention. if you were not lucky enough to be there when it was all happening thank god for youtube. sully d
By old skool ravers do you mean anything before 1994 before it went or happy and gay and cheesy if you did then a massive big up to you and Double drop 2 speckled Doves 😮😮
@chappi1975 it's gaylord material for people that don't know what real Hardcore music actually is but they don't want to listen to me because they're brainwashed by the ultimate cheeseman Mc Sharkey lol 😆 😅 😂
Underrated DJ I'm 45 this year kid's nowadays missed those 12/24 hrs raves, never been seen again, great memories though, big up 2 all my Scottish junglemassive crew keep moving and stay safe:-)
This ain't that good just my opinion although I'm 46 and been listening to Hardcore jungalistic technohead oldskool breakbeat whatever you want to call since I was a puppy
I would put Slipmatt's set as the best of the night, probably because I know it off by heart. I can't believe this is the first time I have heard this set from Ellis Dee (I was there on the night, but don't remember this set)
Jeeeeeeeeez I remember when all that was "Underground" and you had to be up all niht on drugs just to keep up LOL I was 19 in 1993, bloody hell, to be 19 again :D "sucks on dummy, snapping glow sticks"
What more can I say my DJ has said it all big upda fantazia and universe old skool ravers u no who u are pink Cali and Chinawhite massive what a decade 92 always 🎉
JohnnyX50 track is Energizer 4. Thats Ellis Dee under a moniker. Each Energizer cut up the big tunes of the day. The original Energizer was caned by everyone in the day. Big Ratty tune
+z00h the sound quality in the hardcore tent was crap. No treble just muffled bass. I was right at the front by the main stage when this set was on cos my mate was really into ellis dee. He dragged me away from this cute girl I'd be getting off with inside a cardboard box behind the merchandise stand.
That’s like one of the most awkward questions man or girl or what ever.. Ellis Dee was like one of the UK-Breakbeat/Hardcore and early Jungle Masters of the time those days such as DJ Hype, DJ Sy and many others !!!! That’s music history!!

Too right...
Early 90s were the best, only young at the time but what a way to spend my youth out raving all weekends
I’d happily divorce to get a chance to relive these moments over again!

EdDY Üßāぎ the rave scene in the early 90’s was incredible! Nothing will ever come close; fact!
That mix from Foul play into pennywise shows what an absolute master Ellis D was back in the day
Massive big up to all the old school ravers!!
By old skool ravers do you mean anything before 1994 before it went or happy and gay and cheesy if you did then a massive big up to you and Double drop 2 speckled Doves 😮😮
