Some map tiles are very interesting, you might want to take a good look at them when you flip them over :)

Just so you know, someone waiting can be unexhausted, so it can be used multiple times per fight!

Hey Tom. I had the same Tech structural issue as you when I first played. Turns out they’re a large ship tech card you can research that leads to more stuff like shallows navigation. Forget what’s it called but check for it.

+1 Had this same problem. It’s a big tech card, something to do with boats

Isnt it "Trade Fleet Dock"? I think it should start as a project, but it's sort of unexpected as you never get directly instructed to move that card into projects at thr behinning of the game.

I see others already pointed out the Trading Solutions/Trade Fleet Dock Structural Tech (it's Tarot sized, so easy to forget about it as being a regular Tech), but I just wanted to point out the ATO Scribe App, which I might have commented about in one of the previous videos.
It doesn't have the nice ATO art, but it does also track the Map (you can also upload pictures to your private campaign, if desired, because they don't use the ATO art, as mentioned), Technologies, better Argonaut tracking (each Argonaut has a single scroll-able page), Equipment and better Resource tracking (all on one page), Centimanes Glyphs, Fated Boxes, taking more than three lines of Notes on a Timeline Day (...), better system for Backups of the files, and a few more things.
Note the official App is slated to have all of this, and more (audio!), but they have been more focused on the development of the game so they can make their target delivery dates for Cycles 4/5, and the KS campaign that just ended.
Anyway, here is a link to it, if you want to try it out: (has links for both iOS and Android versions of the App)

Reflex is a very powerful skill in this cycle, I'd recommend giving the possibility to every titan to do so. It would allow you to escape lots of nasty situations.

Yes sometimes you can end up stacking many fights consecutively and sometimes its the reverse (we had multiple story hub encounters in one 4-5 hrs session without a single fight). It depends a little on luck and the map. You'll (hopefully) notice that as you get better gear, the fights become easier and interesting as more tactical options open up.

Tom make sure you keep a close eye on the map tiles. Many have secret numbers hidden on them that give you bonuses. When you find them go to the main campaign book section number for the reward...
Ok big thing here is make sure when you fight adversary you use the toying rules. some people have forgot to do that and said its way too hard. Just make sure you always have a new titan be target of the pursuer as he hits hard. If you have the same guy be target 2 or 3 times they have high chance of dying.
Also this adversary likes destorying gear (that sucks) so make sure each titan has at least 1 support gear you can afford to lose.
Reflex is king and make sure you save them for AI cards so that after they hit you can dodge the after attacks that knockdown or knockback.
Also make sure you check your large taro size tech cards for research paths if you are running out of structural tech as the tree should last for nearly the whole game.

You probably missed adding trade fleet in your project decks. Its the only tarot sized card that was not given to you for free. It was supposed to be added in your project deck at day 1 since one of your core technology (tarot sized card) lead to this particular tech. It's just that the game didn't specifically says it to you.

In fact it does, if it is the item I think it is it helps you to get line of sight and adjacency thro thr walls of the laby ^^

you definitely missed something if you're early in cycle 1 and have 1 "diplomatic" technology left to research

Its the big card I think argo works or something? Trade solutions? I missed the same one on my first playthrough since I looked only through the smaller tech cards. I thought the bigger ones were all awarded through story / tutorial, but there is one you have to add to your projects deck and research yourself.
