Great video thank you so much! Quick question - what PC specs are you running? I'm using a 3070 and after testing this, streaming to both Twitch & TikTok at the same time with replay buffer enabled my streams receive FPS loss and encoder overload. If I use TikTok live centre browser instead of TTLS app , turn off replay buffer and disable all previews it just about runs smooth but feel like it should run better. Would love to know if you have any advice?
Would anyone know how to deal with the virtual camera only wanting to stream my 16:9 source? I had it working for a minute then on restart it wouldn't work. Great video btw!
Any tips on how i can help tiktok studio run smoother when multistreaming, unfortunately the app is sooo hefty especially when my pc is on the lower end of things, like I've got a stream key for tiktok but streaming straight from obs lowers your tiktok reach
Great explanation....I'm trying to figure out the stream labs portion though. I tried to put the vertical output, but I don't get the vertical screen along with the horizontal (twitch) stream. Any recommendations??
I think there is still a few issues on the Streamlabs side of things, I believe they only started supporting TikTok streams alongside Twitch a couple of months ago! I’m not as well versed with that process yet, I personally use OBS for it, but I found a guide here that might be able to help: streamlabs.com/platforms/tiktok?RSA&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAACpSRKQy-IVZgja3lkfhE-Bhu_4ZX&gclid=CjwKCAjwm_SzBhAsEiwAXE2Cv9fYKUKwoNTVWZQ2-2Pq_2t3hOd7QFDZTe7ymlpVMeV51W7uJyy_6hoCfNAQAvD_BwE 🧡
@@calscreation I appreciate the advice! I went back into the settings and kept turning on and off the duel output. And restarted stream labs. After about 30 tries it worked and it's working as intended. While it's not the ideal or the solution for everyone, it's what worked for me.
Thank you for the video. I ran into an issue where I could not see TikTok chat while I was live. A buddy of mine screen recorded and on his phone it showed chat talking but on the studio on my screen it was blank. Have you run into this issue?
I had this also! I ended up using my phone to monitor the chat which isn’t the most ideal fix, but since using it a few times, the chat has now popped up on its own, I think it’s a little unreliable at times for the chat bits!
There are ways to do this with Streamlabs but the method in this video wouldn’t work in the exact same ways sadly, I believe you can link your TikTok account to Slabs directly for multi streaming 🧡
I've run into a problem with mine. Followed everything but when I click 'Start Streaming' in OBS I get an error saying 'Starting output failed. Please check log for details. Note: If you are using the NVENC or AMD encoders, make sure your video drivers are up to date' Seems to be related to the virtual camera, when I turn off the virtual camera I can then go live but of course that removes the feed from Tiktok
i figured it out, the problem is that u are trying to go live or recording after turning the virtual camera on. What you need to do is start recording/streaming and then turn on the virtual camera.
Hmm okay, my first thought on this is it might need re-selecting in the 'Docks' section on the top left of OBS, it should give you a drop-down of options here and something like 'Vertical....' could maybe need re-ticking on it if it has disappeared, I hope this can maybe help! 😊
For sure! As long as you’re using a capture card through OBS though, I don’t think this would work if you’re streaming directly from the console, hope that helps! :)
YO! thanks for the video dude. I am running into one problem tho, am unable to get my game audio through on my tiktok stream? My game audio doesnt come through and i think thats just because im using the virtual camera, and not just creating a source that captures my capture card footage and audio. If there isnt a way that is fine but if there is a way that would be awesome.
My vertical worked for 2 streams but when I tried for the 3rd one it's not stretching to the whole screen and I've tried everything. I can't use my camera on 2 different setups either so I'm not sure why it won't work anymore :(
its giving me an error saying Starting the output failed when th virtual camera is started, but when its not its fine and i can go live... how do i fix this?
Open obs and TikTok studio in obs on vertical overlay Click orange button with square and camera icon to off Start your live for whatever streaming service is setup on obs then once stream is started toggle it back on then go live on TikTok had same problem but that fixed it was able to be live on both platforms at once 👍🏻
I wonder what I was doing was maybe making my obs lock up and lag my pc. I basically was capturing the game in tiktok live studio and obs and then going live, Im thinking maybe that made my pc bog down which then kept throwing me for fps issues and frames skipping. I'll try this method, Very great guide!! I'll let ya know on my process. I thought my graphics card vram was getting 100% as I only have 8 but I do have a rtx 3070.
Is this only for PC gamers ? I am streaming on twitch with PS4 and TikTok with my phone cuz I have a Mac.. Anyone know if this program would work for that kinda set up?
Hey! You would need to do this on a PC/laptop You can stream to TikTok from your phone, and there are ways to mobile stream to twitch too, I’m unsure if you could do both at the same time though without a PC/laptop :)
Anyone find out how to fix the part where your in game on tik tok live doesn’t have audio? I can hear myself through mic but not the game on TikTok live
the virticle scene for me is not showing so i cant view or change the game capture or face cam size . i cant see the other window next to the original obs view where you resize your different scenes😔😔
Is there any option somewhere called 'Transform' maybe if you right click it or look around the settings for it? This could be an option to flip it horizontal/vertical if it's flipped the wrong way 🙏
Interesting! It should allow both the landscape and vertical one at the same time since they’re both being used in the same OBS screen, it could be worth setting up both landscape and vertical, and then deactivating and reactivating the webcam in OBS, making sure it isn’t open in other software etc, it should otherwise work, strange one! 🙏🏻🧡
Hey guys not sure if anyone else is having this issue but I did everything in the video and I currently run a duel PC streaming setup so I’m doing this all off my streaming computer while I have the latest Elgato 4K Pro capturing my gameplay from my gaming computer so first I tried streaming on just TikTok first with the Virtual OBS Camera and it seems like laggy I would say when the gameplay is being shown into TikTok Live studio. My intel i9 14900k reaches about 43 degress Celsius just streaming to TikTok. Then when I try to stream the regular 1920x1080 setup off OBS to Twitch it starts the streaming but when I view my channel it is pitch black no display at all with the temperature of my CPU reaching 63 degrees Celsius. If anyone could please help me or maybe has a quick fix it would greatly be appreciated thank you 🙏
It might be able to be re-ticked if you click the “Docks” button at the top left and see if it says “Vertical Screen” anywhere there, sorry if that doesn’t help! Worth a look as sometimes things can disappear but be re-enabled via the Docks bit! 🧡
Log in to your TikTok account on a computer and click “Go LIVE” on the left-hand side and on the next page scroll down and click the red ‘Go LIVE’ button at the bottom. Select a category and stream title for your stream then click the red ‘Save & Go LIVE’ button. Your live stream dashboard will appear and at the bottom of the screen, you’ll see your Server URL and Stream key 🙏🏻😀
