Glad Pac-Man doesn’t kill Orson in the remake of you get the good ending
The ghost got a fitting punishment in the original. A sob story shouldn’t save you from punishment AFTER YOU KIDNAPPED THE GUY’S FAMILY, STOLE HIS IDENTITY, AND TRIED TO MURDER HIM on his birthday.

Even though the og toc-man looked a bit weird in the cutscenes, his design is still the superior for me, its just way more expressive and goofy
I agree, the old one looks more intimidating.
If you 100% the game Pacman won't actually eat Orson (name of the ghost) atleast in the remake.

well in repac the part where pac man eats orson is just in the bad ending if you don't rescue everyone, if you rescue everyone pac man actually consoles him and lets him go

Is nobody going to mention the ending is based on Return of the Jedi because when Toc-Man Explodes it's like when Darth Vader Gets Unmased but instead of a creepy broken old man it's a cute and cuddly Little Ghost with a cute voice.
Not sure if it´s exactly a reference, destroyed robots end up showing the driver every time they use them

Based ending
the new ending feels so bland besides the "Chomp!" graphics to be a bit better. The new ghosts just look they shouldn't belong to 2022, and the old designs of everyone are funnier. The original version looks like they used a lot of efforts of polishing while the new one looks... not trying at all
but the gameplay is exactly like it used to so it isn't a big deal if you skip the cinematics.
