So, they capture them in different ways, Pac-buddy (new and official Chomp-Chomp) gets distracted by an apple, Pac-baby (new and official Baby Pac) and Pooka end up in a barrel and rolled away, Pac-boy (new and official Jr Pac) gets yanked in the water by Clyde pulling the fishing line, professor Pac gets glasses put on him, which makes him dizzy and fall unconscious, Pac-mom (new and OFFICIAL ms. Pac) gets captured similar to the original by Pinky. As for pac, he comes in but he doesn't do any scream as our hero is a silent protagonist (pls don't hate the game like a jerk because of this ISTG) invitations then get rained down from a Toc-man balloon and Pac heads off to ghost Island to save his family The new and official is showing that these are the Namco's official pac family members, the originals were taken back by AT-Games and you can't have pac man world without the family, only the sequel can do that. Anyway, that's all, have fun chomping those ghosts!
but Atgames and GCC issues that's why I found ignorant comments about Ms pacman on this remake is horrible, actually her character got copyright issues, that's why she got replaced by pac-mom

Unfortunately the intro to re-pac changed entirely and Pac-Man didn't scream at the end. But at least the levels will hopefully be the same as before but remastered.
I just hope they don't make World 2 too easy. While I loved the remake of World 1, it's has some things I dislike, one being the intro of how his family gets kidnapped, while still goofy, it's not as creative as this one is.
Growing up I never owned a PS1 so I never got a chance to play Pac-Man World but with the remake coming out in August I'll finally get a chance to play it now and I'm so excited! I can't wait! 😁

Good question!!! I could be wrong, but i believe that bird is the game's camera, and follow Pac-man in his adventure, like the player is seeing by the bird's eyes.
It's still fascinating to me that, well... so very little people realize that the Pac Family (minus Mrs. Pac-Man) was all kidnapped by the bosses of the game.
To this day, i still have this game. And while the original is just straight to the point, the reboot version they're making has more depth to their cutscenes

They didn't include the hummingbird. Pacman didn't scream. There's no voice acting. It didn't fire shadowing the bosses.
This is one of my favorite video game openings and it sucks that the remake didn't have voice acting.
