And relax......you sir are buzzing.....best baits ever i would imagine a massive edge in itself there........its not for me but good luck to all who fish there at least you wont get lonely.
It's certainly not a venue for everyone mate like you say but for those that do fish linear then Jake will certainly help them catch plenty, if you can get a swim :)
Great advice and plenty of it, would you apply the same tactics on oxlease. Note you are also using in my opinion the best bait baitworks for me is the leading Carp bait manufacturer.
Here is a quick question PVA bags in sea water which do you think would be best to hold long enough to get to the sea bed and still hold some smelly oil or additives I know we have cart using a finger bandage is fine but I would also like to see how the PVA bags do maybe to distract the evil little fish and crabs, but also to attract the big fish that are patrolling the beach, also using a three hook flapper rig I could use 2 PVA bags and a cart sausage on the bottom, what do you think, I don't know how much sea diving you do but this could be a brilliant extra channel for the baits company to explore. Hope to hear from you soon.
Its all down to depth mate, I think you'd have to double or triple bag for deep water but it's un tested water as most carp lakes are under under 15 feet deep. Worth an experiement I guess!
Hi Jake. Through no fault of his own my son had all I mean all of his gear stole, and having to start all over again. Today we were looking at new rods/reels. What i would like to know is, can you use a spod reel as a fishing reel?
Sorry to hear this Ray, yes you can mate but the spod reel would need braid on it so not ideal for fishing with. If you spodding at close range then just use the actual fishing rod set up with line on the reel, that will handle gentle lobs with lighter spombs mate. all the best.
@@BaitworksTV Hi again. Due to financial limits, my son has looked at the Shimano Ultegra XTD 5500. Shimano Trible 3lb 50mm TX2. This will be for general fishing, my i have your opinion, or what do you suggest in this price range. Many thanks Ray
By 5 turns on your reel with the shock leader do you mean 5 turns of the handle or 5 turns of the bail arm so potentially only one turn of the handle? Great video first I have seen from bait works just got you a very easy and willing sub! Great information no beating about the bush.
If you turn up, find your spot, bang out 10 spombs and still no takes after a few hours, this is where I'm struggling. See you have tipped trying bags instead, if that fails do you move spots? Or try another new rig? Or put more bait out? Thanks if you get chance to reply. Didn't try liquids in the mix but will next time.
Hi Matt, its all down to location mate, on linear if you get on the fish these tactics will certainly work. If you not on the fish then I'd try and move if you can.
One you pay yearly and has a limited number of members (syndicate) and the other is a day ticket and anyone can turn up, pay and fish (Linear) all the best.
@@BaitworksTV Interesting. Where am from all club wateres(syndicate) are also a linear. So on every lake you can get a yearly ticket or a day ticket. Thanks and cheers
I'm relatively new to carp fishing, but have a few days at linear planned. I use pva bags on smaller venues, but I'm a little concerned about trying to get them out 20+ wraps. I've got 3.25 tc rods. Would they be man enough to cope with pinging bags out that far? Thanks.
Hi Mate, 20 plus wraps isn't crucial, fish to your strengths mate but as long as the bags are small and compact you'll be with with those rods I'm sure mate, if in doubt you could always use a little PVA stick instead. Good luck.
@@BaitworksTV Thank you. I'm still getting my head around, bottom bait, ronnie, heli leaders, leadclip leaders etc.😂 Looking forward to it at linear though.👍 Keep.up the great vids too. Thanks again.
I also think the first bait company that come up with a big firm bait for different sea fish with a way of using PVA bags will smash the market, hope it will be a British company. Big Carp, Big Cod sounds about right maybe some day would love to be able to get away from the finger bandage's and systems like them, would prefer some thing that dissolves if the fish eat it and then break off.
Probably one of THE most informative videos I’ve ever watched!!! Well done and thank you. 👍🏼👏🏼
2:30 "As the swim are fishing through " love that lad 🤣

Nothing beats a good old PVA bag
Oh yes!

Hi Charlotte, yes the same tactics are perfect for all the linear waters if you get on the fish of course. Tight lines

Thanks for these great tips. One thing though. I don't understand the point in using a solid bag over a pre baited spot.
great tactic to prevent tangles and of course draw fish into your hookbait Matt.

@@raybriggs4529 i have no experience of those rods mate but I hear good things so I'm sure they'll be perfect. All the best Baitworks.

What’s your best winter liquid to add in PVA bags?
Hi Sam, any of the non marine derived oils. So hemp oil or our super spice oil are perfect Sam.
Hey, can someone explane whats the difference between linear fisheries and syndicate waters?
One you pay yearly and has a limited number of members (syndicate) and the other is a day ticket and anyone can turn up, pay and fish (Linear) all the best.

What's the bait and everything else you use on this video mate.
How to pva bag over silkweed
Thanks jake
Hi- Just a quick query- how do you ensure the lead gets dropped if you snap up the 12lb mainline? thanks.
The same way when you get a take nothing changes other than you being attached to it.
Does the mix have to be used in the weekend or could I use it once a week if kept in a bucket?
Hi mate, best thing to do is whack it in the freezer after your session.
Nice one jake

Location is a massive factor Richard. Keep plugging away fella.
This is like match fishing but with big carp
I fish method or teabags on quivertip in most match's and cant be beaten :P
When you can get on the bloody place.
Been twice
Banged out twice.
The place is a joke
Thats the issue, its a seriously busy place sadly.
Liquids from Lidl.. 👍😄
Loads of liquid you can buy at the supermarket work well also for sure.
Best tip here is avoid the circus at all cost
linear is the best place in the world its a carp anglers disney land
It has something for everyone mate doesn't it.

They are hungry fish!!! Not surprising when they have rammed thousands of carp into each lake!!! Sad times cause that ain't carp fishing! Yawn!
