Nice shape to this one like the base, bit thicker stem which looks better in my opinion, I know these things are a matter of taste, another fine piece.
Thank you for your comment again!🙇🇯🇵 The thin wall work is very delicate and I like it. Most of the works are thin and may be a feature of me because few people make them. Have a happy day!!
I saw the vid and I had to watch it. And again i'm not disappointed. Very beautiful and elegant goblet. The finish really made it perfect. You're very skilled. Thank you for sharing. But you're mean, showing teasers now 😜. Don't keep us waiting for too long now.
I love these slender cups and flowers. I can not understand that they do not crack. And the annual rings, differently colored wood, etc. Beautiful Carsten Sweden
Thank you for your comment!!🙇🇯🇵 Works that are thinly finished at one time will not break. However, since the base has a risk of cracking, we use a paint that cures in response to moisture as a preventive measure. Greetings from Japan.
Good morning. I find that this cut has its place in an exhibition. She's very beautiful. It's exquisite. I wonder if the foot of this cup will stand the test of time. Given its finesse it is not likely to break with time? I am completely ignorant about wood. I know that some wood species are perfectly resistant to the abuse of time, but others do not. In any case your cut is beautiful. As I do not know if I would have time to write to you again by December 25th. So I take the opportunity to wish you a very beautiful and merry Christmas. I hope you are not too affected by the snow that seems to be falling and very large amount in Japan. With all my consideration Gabriel (France). メリークリスマスと私はあなたに世界のすべての幸せを願っています。 ガブリエル
Thank you for your comment. I sold some of this work a year ago. However, there are no abnormalities in any tree species. Since it is coated with urethane resin paint, it is stronger than ordinary wood. It doesn't snow much in the area where I live. It is several times a year and the amount is small. But elsewhere, the snow requires a lot of work. I hope you and your family have a good day.🙇🇯🇵 いつもありがとうございます。
Thank you for your comment! We use paint made in Japan that cures in response to moisture. After removing from the lathe, sanding and painting are repeated 5 times. By doing so, even if you do not have painting skills like me, you can complete painting like a professional. This is the method taught by my teacher, so there are various other methods and it may not be the correct answer.🙇🇯🇵
Obrigado pelo seu comentário! Usei uma madeira muito dura, mas tinha alguns meses. O próximo vídeo será postado em três dias. Há também uma prévia do vídeo, então espero que você possa assistir até o fim.🙇🇯🇵

Yamabiko what finish are you wiping on or is that sanding sealer? Winter is almost here in Wisconsin and finishing up with my chores. Then I get to be in my shop turning for the next 6 months..
Thank you for your comment!🇯🇵🙇 We use paint made in Japan that cures in response to moisture. It can be used for green trees and is stronger. I think we can grow big in 6 months.
Thank you for your comment! I am using a tree that was destroyed by a disaster. Sawdust is recycled into building materials. In Japan, it is recycled into various things such as soundproofing materials, heat insulating materials, and paper.🙇🇯🇵

The small thing is to get the design, but the risk is great. It seems that the stem of a new tree bends.
