The beauty of travelling is to experience something different and exciting in the visited countries. Enjoy your time in that country (Kenya). Are you from a Southern State in America? Bro... You're a very wise man. I see foreigners who intend to spend more than an year in kenya renting finished apartments and in reality that's the worst financial decision for a person who intends to be in Nairobi for a longer period than 6 months. A finished apartment will always be overpriced, you'll infact be paying for the price of the apartment plus an equivalent amount for the furniture then a 30% contingency meaning you'll be paing 130% on top of the price of apartment. Your decision will not only recoup your initial cost of buying the furniture in the next 6months but it will also make it frexible enough for you to move houses anywhere you want within Nairobi because moving companies will move you within Nairobi in a day. Yes Auston, please dont drink daily. Nairobi is not good for that part. Also the diarrhea part had me cracking up. The Sarit rooftop vibe is awesome for sure!! Your apartment is well done and I cant see a need to add anything. Take your time and also two words... CHINA SQUARE!! Try them for the small items.
The condo looks nice, but how's the sound insulation? I've been to a lot of countries and stayed in a lot of "nice" or "luxury" condos, but the build quality was terrible. You can hear adjacent or above units slamming cabinets, doors, dragging their chair across floor, random knocking/bumping noises against wall, and/or elephants living above you. Tile floors retain a lot of noise too, if the insulation sucks. I had one lady above me who stayed walking in her heels all day. Like wtf, take your shoes off while, you're just chillen in your unit.
You must have been in very low quality neighborhoods where they pour paper thin concrete for slabs. I live in an apartment building and I've never noticed noice from my overhead neighbor. 😂
@@Hobby_trails_family_unedited I see you missed the part where I said, "I've stayed in "nice" or "luxury" condos." I didn't think I needed to state they were nice neighborhoods.
