My cousin was married to a Hungarian man, moved together to UAE back in the early 90s, he hated the discrimination and the racism there, he even one time got kicked out of a masjid and got called 'Kafir' just because he was a blue eyed with blond hair who wanted to pray just like the rest of them. My family didn't make it easier for him neither, sadly got fed up, he discarded Islam, they eventually got divorced and he went back to Hungary. Sisters, dont ever accept a relation other than Marriage..
If a guy want to Marry you, make sure to meet his parents first while you are with your parents, if they are muslims (if they arent its still okay to have your parents on your side).
Ask people if they know the guy, if he pray or not, if he is married or not etc.

Its too common brother. Muslims in muslim countrues ask me an unmarried woman for brides. Which is confusing right? Makes you think ok maybe im unattractive in some way ok. But they continue asking specifically for a revert. I always wonder why? Theres so many bad reasons: to use for visa, to use their ignorance in deen against them, to marry wit& intent of temporary bc they technically arent real in their eyes like the women in their countries. So too is a born muslimah used if she lives out of those countries. In terms of if men have the choice btw a born n revert that are western the revert will be chosen always. There are many levels to this. The poor economic conditions, the westernization of ppl the attack on deen by govts of muslim countries are all contributing factors.
If you are a young man, I just ask you plz be a hero. We need men like the sahaba and the rasul pbuh. Plz the ummah and the future needs you. May Allah fortify you with his deen. Ameen

First - To all the sisters , revert or not, *never* and I repeat *never* get into a relationship with a guy. There is a halal way of approaching this thing. Don't believe in their sweet talks and sugar coated praises. If a guy approaches u , ask him to approach ur father (if he is muslim) or the imam. And investigate about this guy as well. Don't be naive.
Also, revert sisters r easy targets for these manipulative fools , so it's better that u remain firm on ur Deen and stay away from such things . Don't trust any random guy.
Second, before immediately starting to look for marriage, focus on practicing ur Deen, working on building ur character and a strong connection with Allah سبحانه وتعالى. Marriage is not an easy thing. It is a big responsibility, if u r not strong enough physically , mentally and spiritually , u r not gonna be able to give it ur all and perform ur duties.

To be honest, although well meaning, this isnt always helpful advice. Reverts sometimes loose their families, a support system and any sense of belonging. Going to mosque doesnt always work either, cause people treat you more like a guest, then a member. Marriage can help a great deal. Marriage shouldnt conflict with any other goal, be it religion, studies or work as long as it is apprached with care and reason

You r not a Christian and you are a Muslim with a lying tongue!!! Everybody true Christians knows God Lord Yeshua, Jesus is his name not Isa 8s a made up name by a false prophet Mohamed. Everyone who Lord Yeshua, Jesus have truly appeared to n have been a true witness of the risen Lord and truly has been touched by the Lord n became new born in spirit cleansed of all sins by the Lord knows that Allah in Islam faith is a man made religion and would never say they believe in Allah. We R the true Christians because we have seen the Lord n don't say we r Christians but our heart speak for allah who goes around speaking and being an ambassador of him like actually believing more of your allah in the heart that's why this word is spoken by you and came out of your mind, heart n mouth but really you don't believe in the heart that Yeshua, Jesus is Lord. True Christians have seen and been touched by the Lord and they don't say I'm Christian but my heart believes in Allah and speak it out in words. Stop making up things n lying with a lying tongue. You r not Christian because you can't be a Christian believe in God Lord Yeshua, yet speak for another strange God and be ambassador for that God in the strange cult religion. First of all, every true Christians know you can't serve 2 master, it's either you serve the true God, you accept him to be mighty enough that he can be born a man and died on cross, conquered death n resurrected in Yeshua Jesus and you believe in it that is mighty enough to be able to do this or his not mighty enough that he cannot be born a man and fulfill this prophecy. Either you believe you serve him or you stand for Satan in a strange and a cult religion. Get that so that you Muslims do not go n think you make up or come up with lies like that distort truth about the true Christians because we will correct your lies so people knows the truth that there are many liars with a lying tongue and heart like you that the Lord knows you r lying because this has been taught in his teaching himself to recognise those who says they have him in his heart but their actions and words speaks differently that shows they are liars they don't believe n have him in their heart and make up lies about being a Christian but you r Muslim in heart believing in your Allah in this religion, you r not therefore Christian so u don't have the right to even carry this title beside your name. Every true Christian who have seen the Lord and saved by the Lord would never speak for another strange God with a name that God doesn't even accept in Heaven because that's not his name TITLE IS YAHWEH, ADONAI, YESHUA JESUS, EMANUEL, LION OF JUDAH THAT HE GAVE TO HIS TRUE GENUINE CHOSEN PROPHETS AND SENT BY HIM HIMSELF TO REVEAL THE TRUTH OF HIM AND THOSE WHO ARE LIARS in heart and he knows every lie you spoke about being his people because he knows in heart your heart does not have him and you speak for another God that dishonour him and try to lie about his people and the true Christians. I will lift up my prayer to the Lord about you lying so the Lord will deal with you himself. By the way who do you think you are to have this right to pick on a specific group of people that are called the Christians and try make false lies about them and try to make fun of them which was spoken in your qaran instructed by your God allah to pick on the Christians especifically which are God's true people. So your God teaches you pick on a specific group of people which are the Christians, make fun of them, spread lies about them and push them to the corner if you see them on street. What kind of God teaches people to go and pick on a specific group of people and push them to the corner and make fun of them, THAT IS CALLED BULLY. SO, YOUR GOD WHO TEACHES you to pick on the Christians is a bully, what kind of God teaches people to pick on people? You didn't mention Buddhists or Hindus but you mentioned only the Christians because this is taught on your qaran to pick on them n make fun of them. You don't have the right to pick on the Christians BECAUSE GOD NEVER GAVE YOU ANY RIGHT TO BULLY PEOPLE. THE Lord do not like liars and unrighteous people who goes and pick on other people. THE LORD WILL DEAL WITH YOU ACCORDINGLY because Yeshua, Jesus is the God who answers prayers and pays back those accordingly to their work.

@@Leonardsnotebook I understand your point. If I may clarify mine. Islam is both individual and social. That being said society sets norms and taboos. The admonish and shame acts while embracing others. Today some of these men are openly saying their intent to other men and arent being shunned. The shieks barely talk about this issue. So if men stand firm holding other men accountable and marginalizing others while the scholars speak then, there will be a quick and strong change. Fathers need to hold their sons accountable. Uncles need to be there for their nephews, brothers keeping their other brothers and friends bowing out of inappropriate convos while dropping out of friendships with those who posess bad aqhlaq. Our men have become weak and their weakness cause the break for the fem>nists to siege the women. So its why i say men need to man up amongst each other!

I think and AllahknowsBest for the reverts before jumping into marriage etc I think you should try find your connection with your
Creator first and ground yourself and work on your Eman/Faith etc.
Start by learning the shahada that you took Alhamdulillah. ➡️ A Study Of ‘Laa ilaaha illAllah’ a course for new muslims: this book is for beginners you can learn and go through it with Muhammad Huzaifa on this playlist ➡️ ruclips.net/p/PL4nWiA0P5vjJOj6GB_TagMaAjOLf2ULwa also if you check the playlist description there a ( PDF ) of the book his teaching you can print it and make a booklet to. And He has taught this lessons twice this playlist was taught this year few months back here: ruclips.net/p/PLGOfVOabwhqGQ4hmwoMC6JX1KVtYq6bSy Whatever quality you thinks best. Also there absolutely no harm in going through this book or lessons a few times the scholars even recommend and advised that you study this book till death and I'm pretty sure it was this book or Kitab At-Tawheed either way this two books are essential for beginners.
It's obligatory upon Every Muslim to seek knowledge to the best of his ability and know who Allah is to know the Pillers of Islam to know the question in the grave etc. Also 2 Recommended Books 1.( Three Fundamental Principles ) and 2.( Kitab At Tawheed )
Even raised Muslims need to know this but sadly alot don't May Allah Help Us and rectify are affairs.
Also is a most learn for reverts and even raised Muslims for wanting to get married about the condition of nikkah.

I'm not a Muslim but I have been looking into Islam bc I wanted to know what the world's largest religion was all about. I myself am a Taoist, but have studied a lot of religions. There are common threads. The belief in living honorably, our need for a spiritual path, that a loving God exists and wants the best for us, and the idea that peace is the way to go. I wish people would be more open to learning about the world around them. I have found Islam is quite beautiful, even in my limited understanding. I didn't know much before, and bc of where I live, I was afraid of what I might learn. Turns out, there are extremists in every way of life, in every religion but that isn't representative of any group as a whole. Islam is a peaceful, honorable spiritual path. ❤️

The problem is they're still as easy as they were before (by taking haram relationships which are red flags themselves, from both sides). You can't start something with haram..then expect something good to come out of it.

But if it goes really haram in those acts.. then it takes 2 hands to clap. Its consensual and not rape. Its a 2 way commitment and both are to blame equally
My comment was in response to scumbags always blaming the men..yet these woman who let such guys achieve their desires...are somehow subject to sympathy and support and freed from any blame.
No. 2 hands to clap. There's boundaries and YOU crossed them. You KNOW what is haram and what isn't. Your actions determine your value and worth.

Yes ! You are right ,.. it's true there's a lot of opportunistic hypocritical deceitful scheming scumbags using their religion using every strategy available not thinking of the shame and embarrassment they bring to the religion .
And yes if the female is new to the religion she won't know how to behave in a new religious community this is why other good wise people from the community give her good advice and guidance...if she's just a return to the religion then maybe she should be aware of what's is expected of her and any reverts and continues to act and behave the the ways of her past.

@@RManLazarus that's basically what i tried to say. But unless revert is really really really new..which is unlikely. She knows fully well what is haram and what isn't. Most know even before converting.
So it wasn't the knowing or lack of knowing...it was following the desire that got them in the mess. It was following the ego and whims. It was the same reason that others get into relationships even Muslims.
But let me tell you, no guy can ever ruin or take the good from a woman that's genuinely innocent. Because she'll simply block it off as she knows her worth and value. No good muslim women would ever open the door to a haram guy.
A good Muslim woman is that one who safeguards herself and doesn't open the door to any guy except her husband when he is found.

      Firstly:
It is permissible for a woman to take part in public chat rooms, if she adheres to the following guidelines:
She should only participate as much as is necessary, so she should pose a question or state the topic, then leave, and not comment unless there is a need for that, because the basic principle is that she should avoid speaking to men or mixing with them.
There should be nothing in her words that could provoke fitnah (temptation), such as joking, speaking softly, or laughing, such as writing “hahahahahaha”, as mentioned in the question, or using smiley emojis, because that could lead to coveting on the part of those in whose hearts is disease, as Allah, may He be glorified, says (interpretation of the meaning): “O wives of the Prophet, you are not like anyone among women. If you fear Allah, then do not be soft in speech [to men], lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech” [al-Ahzaab 33:32].
She should avoid giving out her email address or corresponding via private messages with any man, even if that is for the purpose of seeking help, because of what such correspondence often leads to of attachment and temptation. See the answers to question no. 34841 .
It is preferable and better for a woman to participate only in all-female chat rooms. This is safer for her. There are many such chat rooms, and that is better and sufficient. But if she needs to participate in public chat rooms, then it is better for her to choose a screen name that does not indicate that she is female.
      And Allah knows best.

‘Oh My servants I have prohibited oppression for myself and made it prohibited amongst you, so do not oppress one another’ (Bukhari).
There are countless verses in the Qur’an on oppression and around 97 verses alone on oppressors.

Yes, well the 'revert' sisters aren't too innocent either please. Usually come with their own spectrum of issues and expecting one man to miraculously fix you by marriage is nor realistic. Fix yourself first or you will be disappointed.

I am a reverted asian and was scammed and exploited by a proclaimed 'god-fearing' man, raised muslim. Of course, I doubted Islam briefly after I quit the relationship, but subhan Allah, it has only increased my faith in Allah (swt). He sent me this test as a reminder to worship Him and not man, and to be wary of such men who use His name to deceive his believers.
