I've come to realise that Islam is the most welcoming religion that I know of. Anyone of any ethnicity can become Muslim and will be accepted by other Muslims as a brother or sister regardless of race. Even if you take God out of the equation and just look at Islam for what you can physically see, it gives people guidance and structure and something positive to live their life by. I was only taught Christianity as a child and growing up but I'm starting to respect Islam the more I learn about it

I think if you remove GOD from the equation in Islam. Islam won't be Islam. We won't be having Islam in the first place. Nor would the prophets have spread the message of it without the knowledge of it. So you can't remove GOD from it. When reading the Quran each verse looks like Allah is directly talking to you.

@@electricssb God wanted it that way he gave his son as a sacrifice to wash our sins away not that we would live in sin but that we would repent and turn away from sin its the blood of Jesus that makes us clean. God use to ask for animal sacrifices in the old testament but now His Son Jesus took that upon Himself so now we are made clean through Him only!

Allah had 100 parts of Mercifulness.
He gave 1 to all creation, and kept 99 to himself. This 1 part that he gave his creation, is why mothers have mercy and love to their children, is why humans have sympathy etc. so imagine, this 1 part was given to all creation, and it’s more than enough. Can you imagine how big the 99 remaining parts are? Allah is most merciful.
Here’s the hadith:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Allah has divided mercy into one hundred parts; and He retained with Him ninety-nine parts, and sent down to earth one part. Through this one part creatures deal with one another with compassion, so much so that an animal lifts its hoof over its young lest it should hurt it".
Honestly, as a Muslim myself I make mistakes but all it takes is one step before I start to feel just how kind and forgiving my lord is, that he let me take that step back to him.

Right shows how merciful he is. We humans definitely can't be this merciful. BUT Your forgiveness is only accepted if you truly repent and don't keep doing those things again and again. Like for eg u know alcohol is haram in Islam u asked for forgiveness that u won't drink it ever again and yet you continue doing so knowing it is not allowed and is a sin then your repentance won't be accepted

Following that line of logic would mean God is not a just judge. There can be no justice without a payment for sins. As Christians, we believe God the Father allowed Jesus to lay down his life as payment for the sins of all those that accept his sacrifice.
On a different issue as well, I have heard that Jesus is regarded as a respected prophet in Islam. How can someone be considered a prophet in Islam if you believe their teachings are false? The specific teaching is that Jesus himself is the son of God and that no one can come to The Father except through him.
It is hard to convey tone through text but do read this as someone conversing in calm voice and not someone who wishes to self-glorify in a "gotcha" moment.

Observe moderation in deeds (and if it is not possible, try to be near moderation) and understand that none amongst you can attain salvation because of his deeds alone. They said: Allah's Messenger, not even you? Thereupon he said: Not even I, but that Allah should wrap me in His Mercy and Grace.
Sunnah: Sahih al-Bukhari 2449
Prophet Muhammed said, "Whoever has oppressed another person concerning his reputation or anything else, he should beg him to forgive him before the Day of Resurrection when there will be no money (to compensate for wrong deeds), but if he has good deeds, those good deeds will be taken from him according to his oppression which he has done, and if he has no good deeds, the sins of the oppressed person will be loaded on him."
Quran 2: 136 Say, ˹O believers,˺ “We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; and what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.”
Quran 4:152 As for those who believe in Allah and His messengers-accepting all; rejecting none-He will surely give them their rewards. And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Quran 5: 72 They disbelieve those who say, 'God is the Messiah the son of Mary.' But the Messiah himself said, 'O Children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord. Whoever associates others with God, God has forbidden him Paradise, and his dwelling is the Fire. The wrongdoers have no saviors.'

An answer to that question would be with a question which is, why does a sacrifice need to be necessary to be forgiven?
Simple. Because God is just and demands payment for sins. If God just "forgives" that's literally unjust and looking to other way. Give me a reason why God *should forgive* ? The reason for sacrifices was because God would condem the sin of that person in a blameless sacrifice and destroy that sin. That's the reason we are justified in Jesus christ. Because Jesus was the last sacrifice for us. And because God destroyed all sin ever committed in the body of Jesus. And because Jesus is God he could take on the sin of the world and be a justified sacrifice who knew no sin. Jesus's sacrifice gives us the opportunity to be forgiven by God. Why? Because of the finished work of Jesus on that cross. I'm sorry but this is where Islam fails. Why should Allah just "forgive" ? If he has nothing to forgive them for. There is no reason or substitute for forgiveness. At this stage he might aswell just forgive everyone..

You will still be accountable, if you killed someone you’re going to prison for sure, but if with a genuine heart you’re regretful and ashamed of what you did, only God knows that, and He will forgive you. You still have to do the time in this life though.
To have a forgiving Lord is amazing, since he knows what is truly in your heart, you know you can always return to Him, no matter how far you’ve gone
