Really love this channel! Just got back into painting after i found one of your slap chop videos! Didnt know it was a thing and it is just perfect for my attention span! Quick tip for others starting out.. If you need a specific color as a dipping/contrast version.. i have found that thinning a tiny bit of regular acrylic with a paint brush thinner works awesome as a substitute!
Great video mate! going to paint my bestiary minis for frostgrave and rangers of shadow deep that way to speed things up :) Highly recomending those games!
I'm pretty new to painting miniatures, want to give slap chop a try, does anyone know what type of paints are best to use for the dry brushing? is it acrylic?
Yeah any white or grey acrylic paints. Spray Matt black then dry brush white or spray black, dry brush whole model a medium grey then dry brush white looking down the model from top as if sunlight shining down on it for more depth of light and shading.
I have many of the dipping inks but their reds looked to me very weak. I'm missing red opulence to try but how many layers did you need to achieve that red?
I'm a little concerned that you're using air fresheners around your printer. Might be an idea to stick some charcoal filters in there and perhaps get a shower curtain rail with some black drapes to hang in front - just to contain any fumes at least a little. Great build - your painting is really blowing me away these days. It's been so much fun to watch you grow 🎉
10:40 you forgot to print the blades however he's an ork he forgot to put the blades on his def copter but it proceeds to fly anyway because Orks don't care about the laws of physics.
Keep an eye out on my Ebay page for things I sell - www.ebay.co.uk/usr/miniature-hobbyist 🙂

Does printing with resin not produce a lot of (toxic?) fumes?

the vip pack for zombicide and the apps are great!
@miniaturehobbyist do you have a video where you show spraying on the zenithal? Thank you
Jon Long time fan here. Do you have a ventilation system in place for your printer and cleaning station
What did you use for the rubber seal on the lid?

Did I hear a rock and stone?
Are you not afraid of the toxic fumes that the printers give? My 3d printer is in the shed because it smells terribly toxic
I got the dipping inks too. They are great for bases and shooting through an airbrush. I am thinking about getting their new ink range.
