  • In this Speed Edit you’ll see my process in creating this Epic Bride and Groom veil shot from their wedding day, in Photoshop CC. Sometimes during wedding day it can be tough to get exactly what you want in camera, due to either time constraints or resources on site during the fast paced day. In this image we setup two shots from the same perspective, adjusting the veil position so we could composite the veil later. Check ou the process!
Huge thanks to Chrystin Melanie Photography for providing this image from a wedding we shot recently! I’ve talked about doing some PSD breakdowns along side these speed edits. I’m currently working on a breakdown for this which will explain everything in a bit more detail. Make sure to Subscribe and click the bell icon to get notified when I upload new content!

One of my favorite things about speed edits is that you truly get a "birds eye" view of the process. We'll get to tutorials on individual steps but for me and my learning style these types of videos were vital. I still prefer to watch these often as I'm inspired by theory rather than step by step tutorials when looking for a creative process.

Hey everyone! Thanks for checking out this speed edit! I'm going to be doing a follow up video soon with a PSD breakdown to give you an even closer look at the process while discussing some key elements. Feel free to leave questions here in the comments, I'll answer as soon as I can and make sure to use some of the questions as discussion points in the breakdown!

Well nice post work...but as for wedding work..that is a lot of steps of ps work for not much of a natural result....why not try creating that epic shot before post...There's Ps enhancement, then there's fakery-post work..Besides all those steps are doable with a 2 layers, a dodge and burn tools.
