I have a baby girl. She is now 1 year and 8 months old. She is absolutely fit and fine and a healthy baby. She is very smart and active. All of you who are worried whose TSH is high, consult a proper endocrinologist and follow it's guidance. Trust me everything will be perfect. Don't take stress and enjoy your pregnancy period.

First of all maintain your TSH level between 0.02-2.00 then only you try for baby, as your high TSH level will interfere with your ovulation.
Hi ma'am we got our 9month color Doppler pregnancy and it says "single cord is seen around the neck at the time of examination " and our gynecologist says will take a week time if the baby head not fix then will take the decision for going c section and our due date is 29th Oct 20. Is it possible to avoid the c section?
Hi Kamal, Thank you for your query. In our Institute we try for vaginal delivery irrespective of the status of cord. Most of the time vaginal delivery is possible as it is usually a loose cord that accommodates for the descent of baby during delivery. If you are in Delhi you can come in for a second opinion. It is not dangerous to you and your baby. . You have to take tablets regularly after talking to your doctor .

I am pregnant right and will be entering my third trimester on 23rd November. I have thyroid since last 10 years but my thyroid was normal during the pregnancy. Yesterday I again got the thyroid checked and my TSH level is too elevated. It is 108, I don’t know how it got so elevated, I am regularly taking my medicine and taking all other precautions. I am very tensed , can you pls suggest what should I do?

Hi Aqsa, recent studies state that a TSH level of 4 in pregnancy is normal for Asian population. However, it would be good to repeat thyroid profile (FT3, FT4, TSH, TPO antibodies) and consult an endocrinologist. If you are started on medication then there is practically no risk to your baby due to thyroid.

Hi Shahzada, your TSH 5.14 is slightly high, please get a thyroid profile done (FT3, FT4, TSH, TPO anti bodies) and consult an endocrinologist for thyroid medications. Repeat your ultrasound after on week of the last scan and if there is no heartbeat then it would be best to terminate the pregnancy, after consulting with your doctor.

Don't worry, take medicine daily . Take tablet on empty stomach and leave atleast one hour gap and eat. drink milk/tea atleast after two to four hours. Don't touch the tablet bottle with wet hand. Close the tablet bottle and keep it away from direct sunlight. Don't keep the tablet bottle in kitchen because if it is very hot Or exposed to air, water or direct sunlight, the efficiency of tablet will reduce I heard
