I think people commenting about how elders should respect children, need to understand that in the South - hosting a saree is a very personal gesture. No matter how close a friend he is, a man who is not a girl’s father, husband, son, brother or uncle don’t gift sarees or jewellery to women. I think Bollywood should stop making films on the south simply because you guys don’t do enough research about the culture in the South. What this girl did is highly inappropriate and the story line seems pathetically unaware of reality. No wonder the film bombed
