@@moparlifescatpackanother thing I noticed that is kinda odd, is that the rear deck lid covers the back speakers with a pretty sold piece of material. Just tap into the rear speaker to the remote inputs on amp the amp. I really don’t wanna mess with the head unit & only have RCA input/outputs for the head to amp connections anyway. Which I’m sure won’t work without an adapter. At least.
Well I seriously considered doing this myself..until last minute snap shots…pretty certain I won’t bend that way and if I tried may end up stuck 😅! Great tutorial and I’m subbing
But if you’re doing all that already, just get a real sub and amp, you’ll be much happier. Get the kicker rca one with the remote wire and you’ll be good. Take off too deck and all the trunk interior to get it installed nice and clean with no wires showing. Run your wires for your amp below the panel your sub will be sitting on where the factory wire already runs to the back where the seat is and put your amp right there at your backseat in the trunk so it’s not all showing and nobody can see the wires. Easy professional looking install in less than an hour. Hardest part is literally removing the panel bolt. But get you the oem tool for less than $15 and it’s a breeze
I imagine you probably could although I tapped in into the driver side rear speaker. I think I remember looking up the diagram on Google to find out which was positive and which was negative so if you use a different speaker, you can look up the diagram and it will tell you which one.
Theoretically yeah but Im not really a very technical guy when it comes to stereo installs. Only reason I conquered this one was because it was just so straightforward and hard to mess up.

Really you just have to play with the knobs on the back of the amp as well as the equalizer inside the car.
