Great reaction. This song has not been released; Morgan has never done this before; not exactly; teasing an entire song with his band in a Sessions setting. He had two iterations of Dangerous Sessions; 7 and then 7 more months later at two locations, but all fourteen were songs from the Dangerous album. Then he had five One Thing At A Time Sessions songs in March right around the album release date. This is the second iteration of Sessions for the current album; it has five from the album, but then it also has this new one that's previously unheard; and then a cover of a 9 year old rock song called Graveyard Whistling. A total of seven. I like all the different styles of Morgan Wallen, but this softer side falls to none to me; softer like 7 Summers. My favorite style of his probably though is when he does that unique, Wallen-only sort of flow that he does in the choruses on Wasted On You, Sand In My Boots, Thought You Should Know and Tennessee Numbers, etc. Abbey Road Studio is famous, because it's where the Beatles recorded some of their early, big hits!
I agree that MW is a great artist to bring new people to listen to country music. I can’t wait for him to release the album version but have no idea when that’ll even be coming but I have a feeling him/his team will make us wait! Haha
Great reaction! I love to see young people starting to venture out musically and check out Country Music. Yes, this is more Pop Country or "New Country" but like you said artists like Morgan Wallen (and Hardy, Jelly Roll, etc) are great artists to check out first. I have loved country music all of my life. That is all my Dad would play. EVER!!! He is 76yrs old now, and still will slap my hand if I reach towards the car radio while he is driving LOL
