For the last part, i.e. to detonate the explosive charge, it is easier to place a dead body in front of it. Lay a booby trap and add an anti-tank mine. Then you don't have to walk far enough to see the dead body and detonate it with just one shot. 😉
I recently played this level again and I realized that I never noticed the dust getting kicked off the viaduct whenever the railgun fires, irrelevant to the video I know, but it’s a cool detail.
Mission accomplished! Took me quite a bit longer than you, though. The second Infantry guy you have to melee kill simply didn't come looking for his mate for 30 minutes. He thought it was a good idea to search the top of the bridge. lol Also, I killed everyone from the bushes before I moved in - I found your approach a little too risky for my taste. ;) Thank you VERY much for showing that sneaky path!
I wish authentic plus removed the audio cues, like the ones when a sniper is about to spot you (removing the glint would also be nice). It just feels a bit off for a mode that’s supposed to be the most difficult iteration of the game, to keep something like that in. But maybe that’s just me.
Uhhh... how were you able to start out the level, turn left after the bridge and not have to stop and defuse the two trip mines that should be placed along that river path?
Because the trip mines don't go all the way across the footpath they only go about 70% across, so when running you can hug the fence to get past the first one then hug the rocks to get past the second one.
How come none of your shots compensate for wind? At 6:55 for instance there is one bar of wind but you just aim above to compensate for gravity, not to the side at all.
That shot, i fired it when the crosshair was in the middle of his head. The bullet almost missed, you can see in the killcam it just caught the back of his head cus the wind moved it a little. Wind doesnt effect the higher muzzle velocity rifles too much at 100m.
I always enjoyed throwing a body or two off of the bridge on this level just for fun lol. Great job, nice shooting!
Thanks a lot about this mission guide! I won the Authentic Plus trophies with your help!
You rock!
Great run my friend!!

I thought you would use the tnt to blow up the bridge since it saves you the trip back up to your vantage point.
