Thanks for your comment. IMHO, it’s a very generic view to say fenders don’t have this sound. There are lots of different fender jazz bass models and each one sounds unique. Moreover, this is a modified fender jb with Bartolini preamp and Lollar PU’s so a lot of factors playing roles for a different sound here. FYI, the master volume knob of the fender is fully open in this demo but of course the input gain on my audio interface was lowered to avoid to much gain and consequently a distorted sound. However, I´m open to any suggestion on how I can make my recordings better with higher quality. I’m still learning every single day :)

The Sadowsky sounds more "pre-amp-y." And the Sire sounds weaker, with less character in general.
Thanks for watching and for your comment 🙏
Personally, I prefer the Sadowsky sound even over the Fender.
Sadowsky sound is closer to my taste as well.
In this video, Sadowsky for me. Sire gets 2nd place
Our opinions are similar 😊. Have you watched my two other videos on my channel where I recorded my Sadowsky and Sire with nickel strings? IMO, they even sound better with nickel strings on 😊
@@majidalizadeh9354 I’ll check that out! I have two basses. One is strung with stainless, the other has nickel as well :)
fender the best
@@aldemarorodriguezbass thanks for your comment 🙏
Louder always tricks us that it sounds better.
The levels from these basses seem quite different.
Thr Sadowsky Does sound very nice though.
I Do wonder about a level 'playing field' in these comparisons though.
I bought a Sire V-7 quite early on, alder/rosewood, just to have a Jazz bass around the place and mine sounds Much livelier.
I like the 'legacy; tones from the old Fender types.
My 'daily driver' is a Modulus Q5, but it can do F type sounds when it needs to ...
Thanks for watching and commenting. The levels on the instruments as well as in the DAW are exactly the same. The level difference comes from the active electronics as well as the pickups.
I would have liked to see a G&L JB thrown in the mix. Thanks for the demo
@@MrSparks54 I don’t own a G&L JB currently. Maybe at some point in the future 😊. Thanks for watching and for your comment 🙏
Sadowsky the best
Agree with you
Sire e Fender são mais definidos.
♦Hi from France ♥
Ni l'une ni l'autre !
Hi to you. And thanks for watching anyway 😊
Fender 10 miller 9 ... sadowsky ... and ...the rest

Sire is the best by far. Others three have so much scooped tone.
Thanks for your comment. The combo of Sire V5 and EMG PUs gives an amazing sound. Have you watched the other video on my channel where I play this Sire V5 with nickel strings on? I like the sound even more with nickel strings:

Your volume knobs on your Fender its not open full! The fender don't have this sound! Its tendencious like for you!
I’m still learning every single day :)
as de vries differences au niveau des sonortritéesmais la sre a le meilleur raport qualité:/rix
For me. Fender all day every day. Sadowski a close second. The other didn't interest me.
Thanks for your comment. I can’t disagree. I like both of them 😊🙏
I don’t know if you have watched the other video on my channel where I played Sadowsky with nickel strings on. I like it more with nickel strings. You might have the same opinion.
Slap on atelier not good
По Мне, Fender самый лучший, вряд-ли его можно достать по звучанию и читаемости, Fender 5 ball
I would add the Harley Benton JB75, best bang for your buck for a 70s style Jazz Bass
Would you prefer the Harley Benton over a Sire V5?
@@majidalizadeh9354 Without the pre-amp of the Sire, I would put them equally in terms of sound and woods, as ash is an amazing and reliable wood (but heavy as heck) in terms of feel that is a subjective, but I really love the neck of the JB75 compared to the Sire as it isn't extra thin and it feels like a Jazz neck with a tough of a P
The biggest difference is IMO the pickups and the QC, the Roswells of the HB are good but they could be a little bit better and it can be solved with an upgrade, and the QC because sometimes HB basses come with maybe ok-ish tuners and sharp frets, while the Sire is more consistently good
@@ricardog.s2505 good points 👌👍
As far i know Sire is Indonesian
Sadowsky win for me ❤️
Yes you’e right, the bass is made in Indonesia but the company is in South Korea.
@@davidsetiady Sadowsky is my favourite too 😊
@@majidalizadeh9354 Sadowsky too Bright....
@@oscarsantos2608 thanks for your comment. I think it is because of the string set I used. Did you watch my other video where I have played my Sadowsky with nickel strings on? It sounds less bright in that one.
Sire better

Do you mean the Fender is your winner?🥇
The Marcus Miller sounds better
I like the Fender too
Sadowski.
Yes 🫵🏼
There’s only one kids & that’s the original fender jazz bass all others are lame wannabes
@@Nick-d9w soon I will post a video of an original Fender 70’s jazz bass. Stick around if you are interested. Thanks for your comment 🙏
