We would try it. We are from NY so we would pass on the Bagel and Pizza because well NY. Otherwise yes it looks good. The question is….would you go back and eat there again? If so, what was the best item?
I hate the fact that since the pandemic, so many buffets have closed permanently, I do not want to go to a casino, that I have to leave to go get something to eat. The buffets were perfect. Everybody is able to get what they want…
Casinos in the past did not expect to make a profit on buffets. They were a loss leader to draw people in and also keep them there. Bean counting accountants are now in charge.

Thank you for the info. Looks like the new Aria food court should be avoided entirely. Derek and Catherine just got fleeced royally. In the neighborhood of around a hundred dollars for doughy bread (pita, bagel, pizza, rice) filled fast food. Really? These new "cell phone restaurants" are a gimmick that will probably be very short lived. Thanks for taking one for the team.
The Aria doesn't know it yet but people overall will now avoid this place and go some place else to eat. There's something unique about a Vegas hotel and casino that offers a Buffet restaurant....
Thanks for showing us all the options at the Aria Food Hall. I didn’t find it all that appealing and the prices were quite high. One of my favourite things to do in Vegas used to be the buffets and I wish that they all weren’t disappearing. I especially liked the venue for the Paris buffet. Thanks for another fun video.
I'm not really a fan of food halls, it reminds me of the mall food courts from the 90s. One of the fun dining experiences used to be the Vegas buffets before the pandemic shut them down
Profits on buffet was probably low. At the price of the food court, the profits on food court are certainly higher. Add the opportunity cost on buffets: people eating there do not eat at a much more profitable restaurant.
It’s not a mistake the product is not available like in the past world trade was effected by Putin and his stupid war of 3, days. Less cheap products available jobs can’t pay people to keep showing up imagine 2 busy days then zero clients. The stupidity of the president not putting a clause on the nation to not raise prices homes rents gas groceries, now nobody can afford shit. Thanks to the Biden voters I’m sure they now realize Trump was right. Wait till they surprise you with higher prices and nothing available?
@@jeanjasinczuk7543 I assume they did their market research but i always assumed the point of the buffets was to draw people in who then spend money in other areas like gambling, not for the profit on the food. Not sure a food court will be the same draw, but some of the food courts are insanely packed so who knows.
Love listening to Catherine. She has a lovely voice and is so sweet and polite. Derek is great too, but Catherine is so enjoyable. Please forgive me if I spelled your names wrong. Thanks for the video. Great as always.
In theory, a Food Hall sounds interesting, either for having a quick snack or to offer a group of visitors a variety of food choices. However, both the Aria and Resort World food halls are failures, both for the same reasons. 1. The food offered is far too expensive and offer little value at those costs. 2. At those prices, I don’t want to be the cashier and the food server to save them on labor costs. I bet those screens have an option to add a tip. 😶 3. Limited food choices at each outlet. Wexlers had 6 bagel options and 2 sandwiches. Each outlet had a 1 page menu. Saves the company on food and labor costs, but it does not make for a good dining experience. 4. Limited options for customizing your chosen foods. I saw the food screens had options to remove toppings, but nothing for adding toppings. At this point value restaurants like America at NY-NY and Hollywood Cafe at Planet Hollywood are better options with a huge selection of meals.
Well said. You could even goto In N Out for some bargain burgers. Also FOR THOSE PRICES I’ll go to Gordon Ramsay or Wolfgang Puck & get the best food in the world. Not this food court crap .
$5 each for reheated Pizzaoki slices, the cheapest stuff in the Aria "Food Hall." Mall food court food. Private equity looters are ripping off the Las Vegas tourists.
I think the bagel and kabob orders looked great! 🎉 However that sushi looked rough from the get-go, lack of presentation big time for the price!!😮 As for the pizza, I think Costco food court looks way better, cheaper too! I love your videos and thank you for keeping us all in the loop for the latest happenings in Las Vegas ❤
I wasn't impressed the choices were slim and it's all the same stuff. When I see a place advertise themselves as a deli, I expect a giant pastrami or corned beef sandwich. I'm not sure why the buffet is going but it's definitel must be a bean counter's decision! Love your videos, keep them coming.
This is a fail for Aria. Cool place if you're staying there but to visit this place strictly to eat? That's a no go for me. Everything looked very questionable especially the prices(Vegas, I know). The sushi looked like it wasn't even cut up properly like they used a butter knife. And to get just 1 short piece of kabab from the other spot what's up with that? Thank you guys so much for reviewing places like these so we don't have to waste our time and money. 👍
Omg we met you this day!! We ate there all weekend pretty much and you should try the burgers!! They are amazing!! And yes agree moneyline is better than pizzoki! We also ate at Aria Pasterrie! It was amazing meeting you both!! Hopefully we will run into you both again in our next visit in May!
Food Hall looked like a chopped up buffet with different sections. All seemed very septic from ordering and the non melody Aria environment. Enjoyed the descriptions of menu items and waiting to see the Derek and Catherine special on the board some day.
That’s pretty darn expensive. You can have an amazing steak dinner for some of those prices. I know inflation is in play. It’s just becoming outrageous. But I love your reviews guys!!
It's a shame they removed the buffet. While not overly large, at$40 per person, that buffet was one of the best values on the strip. Even moreso with the myvegas BOGO. It was one of the best things about aria and was a hidden gem. Now it's just a casino I have no problem walking right on by.
We just got back from staying at the Aria for 5 nights. We been to the Aria buffet back in the day, but this trip we enjoyed the food hall for quick eats. Love the egghead for breakfast, Seoul Bird, Laughing Buddha ramen & that donuts from Easy Donuts! 🤙🌺
We always try different buffets in Vegas. Our last trip we were at the MGM Grand. My wife and I decided to eat all of our meals at the MGM food court. It wasn’t bad. Only there for 3 days, so we ate something different every meal. Sometimes you have to try other stuff 👍
So you can choose from a wide variety food items like a buffet; but instead of paying one flat price everything is a la carte. What a cutting edge concept. Sorry, Vegas that's a hard no.
Hi Derek & Catherine! Hope you both are doing well. I’m surprised no more buffet at the Aria. I probably would try the burger place and egghead. Awesome review 👌 Can’t wait for your next video. Happy eating. Have a fantastic week!
Thanks for trying. At those prices it looks too expensive for the choices and quality of the food. I was waiting for a review of the korean fried chicken, but you passed ! The sky is falling Derek.
I can't decide if I like food halls over the buffets since I eat small and buffets are getting pretty wild in the price. But, I still love the vibe of the buffets. It's just so Vegas. We ate at proper eats recently too. Pizza was ok but I'd agree that there are better ones out there. We got a burger from Lola's and it was top notch! Just don't get the fries. Hah. Thanks for showing the other options so I know what to try next time. 🤓
I agree with you guys that the sushi probably wasn’t worth the price - the sushi did not appear pressed properly and they looked like they were on the verge of falling apart
Lobster typically is never worth the price at most restaurants, let alone a restaurant within a casino in Vegas. Sushi is not supposed to be compressed too hard and should be on the verge of coming apart once you eat it.
I am guessing but I am gonna say the food court will be very expensive......... The prices being charged in most of these places in Vegas are a complete joke and price gouge
I notice they have an reduced menu at all locations, I guess the variety of places helps that. I think its time for another buffet, and we can hear Derek say, " lets see what there is to eat ".
Now I know, no need to walk all that way and check out. I love your excitement and exploration, but even you two had a tough time with this food court-hall-court-halllll

IMHO, the Aria made a mistake when they replaced the buffet (which was great) with this weird food court. They also made a mistake when they got rid of the Aria Cafe, as there is no longer a true coffee shop on the premises. They could have located Din Tai Fung somewhere else on the property.
Well... good of you to try to find something nice to say about that pizza. I'd have to say "Secret Pizza" at The Cosmopolitan is the best for that style.
What do you think of Aria's new food hall? Would you eat here?
Definitely plan to check it out.
I LOVE THE FOOD HALL TOO
We would try it. We are from NY so we would pass on the Bagel and Pizza because well NY. Otherwise yes it looks good. The question is….would you go back and eat there again? If so, what was the best item?
the buffet must come back
Nope🍷
Thanks you two for showing me where I won’t be eating when I come into town.
Good, this helps narrow down my choices, this place is off my list!
I agree, nothing there impressed me at all.
I hate the fact that since the pandemic, so many buffets have closed permanently, I do not want to go to a casino, that I have to leave to go get something to eat. The buffets were perfect. Everybody is able to get what they want…
That’s just it, with labour and food costs they realize buffets are not worth it to maximize their profit margin.
I agree with you so much
@vegasnative6394 I agree! I love the buffets in Vegas. The buffets are so convenient and easy access from the casino area.

This seems like a mistake from Aria. One of the key draws of Las Vegas is to overindulge on food from the buffets.
