We Ate the Most EXPENSIVE French Pastries at Caesars Las Vegas! New Restaurant by the Cronut Chef

- At his new restaurant in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace, French chef Dominique Ansel serves up his classic creation the Cronut. It's a unique combination of a croissant and a doughnut, and a luxurious indulgence of both ingredients and price. But for Sin City, it's appropriately decadent for any time of day. Dominique Ansel is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, located right next to Gordon Ramsay Pub and the Caesars Palace food court. Bakery items range from $3.99 for Cannelés de Bordeaux and macarons to $11.99 for Las Vegas exclusives such as the Ladybug, the Four Leaf Clover, and the Lucky Penny Pig.

What do you think about the Cronut? Worth the price?
A little pricey...but very nice display :). Will definately try if I hit the Powerball tomorrow
It’s a little too rich for me. Lol. But I can watch you two and it’s like I’m right there 😎
Yes worth it that are delicious
Well, it's Vegas. Everything is expensive. I'll try it one day on my next trip. I've saved plenty for luxury items like that.
They looked delish.😋😋
Derek has the most expressive face ever! He really loves food 😋
Yeah but one of these days his eyes may pop out LOL
it's like lady orgasm
I can see the experience through his expressions before he even has to say anything. So animated with each video. Love it
Definitely adding this to my "must-do" list when next in Las Vegas!
Pastries look wonderful, it’s an average of $11 per pastry but they looks like they could feed two people so $5.50 per person isn’t that bad. Plus we only live life one time might as well make beautiful memories and tasty ones too.!
Love your channel
Foods to try before you die?
Treating yourself to a top quality pastry every now and then is just the best. 😊
My son "The Cajun Ninja" just posted last week his cookbook has sold out. I think there are some copies at some vendors that purchased them. Just had to let ya'll know as I am so proud of him and his accomplishments. As for this video $60 is a drop in the bucket for these delicious looking items. In fact if I go to Vegas this is definitely on the bucket list, probably twice. Just the presentation is mouthwatering. Well Done!
Wow great assortment in pastries !! Love the cronut , you both did excellent sampling the treats !!! Thank you 🥰🥰
Derek and Catherine thanks so much for the delicious looking desert 👍
It all looked so yummy! Thanks for letting us see. Can’t wait to try 😋
Derik I love how we can tell when the flavors hit your tastebuds, your eyes get huge it’s amusing. I have to taste some of those pastries, but I’ll probably go to the NYC location. Fun episode thanks
Greetings from central Paris, France! For comparison: here a croissant costs 1,10 to 1,30 euros. A pastry from 2,50 to 5,90. For the pastries you always get the package thing.
Those looked so good and they are STUNNING desserts!
I like how surprised Derek looks when he tries the food. It's like someone told him it was supposed to snow 4 feet on the strip tomorrow 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Walked past the place on opening day. Ansel was there. Went back a few days later and had the cronut and a few other pastries. Love the box they put them in. And you are supposed to cut them with a serrated knife. Did not mind the price at all
Looking forward to trying this place and thanks Derrick and Katherine! Great video ❤
Thanks guys. When y'all try something I feel like I have tried it too.
Thanks for this one! I've been interested in knowing about this place for my upcoming trip.
For the algorithm and delightful delicious treats 😋.
Mmm this made me soo hungry for some pastry! Although the prices are crazy high I bet so worth it!
My blood sugar has gone up by just watching your fab video
Great start. I wish they would bring more of their nyc menu items to vegas
It's expensive but a lot cheaper than flying to New York and waiting for hours in line at their SoHo location. Everything looks incredible.
Is anything worth the price in Vegas? Probably not…but we spend our money anyway!😂
Everything looked great. I will definitely check them out the next time I go to Las Vegas. Great video. Thanks.
They all look so delicious. Great video
I had to write another review! Those pastries are freakn brilliant looking. The look of those direct you away from thinking about the calories. Effen brilliant
Very interesting. Wonder what they do with all the items that don’t sell before they go stale..
I would be happy just trying a croissant they looked delicious!
Thanks Derek and Catherine! Another great video !
Thanks for sharing this 👍
They look beautiful! I like how every aspect is beautiful!
I'm going to Vegas in a half-month. I'm definitely going to this place after dinner. Coffee would be perfect with this.
I think KRONUT is worth the price. The Goldfish looked as if it could become my favorite. Beautifully executed. Thanks so much for your awesome content.☺️
It’s like eating a sculpture. Price isn’t commensurate with the experience.
I love to see Derrick eating, it's magical.
These all look so good guys thanks for sharing very nice..but definitely quite expensive but the craftsman ship of these pastries seems to be worth it🥂👍
I really enjoy these eating videos. You two are so great to watch. Derek’s expressions are the best.
Everything looks so great!! The goldfish scared me. 😂😂.
Great video.
It's always so hard to tell if Derek likes something. 😂
I wouldn't mind sharing a few of those pastries with family or friends. They all looked delicious.
I JUST LOVE CATHERINE SHES SO DAINTY!!!!DEREK ENJOYS THE PASTRIES AS SOON AS YOU SEE HIS EXPRESSION LOL GREAT VIDEO GUYS I JUST LOVE YOUR VIDEO CONTENT!!!!!YOU BOTH SHARE THE CAMERA &THE FOOD ITS VERY EXCITING TO WATCH!!!!👍👍👍👍🤩🤩

All those pastries deserves a good cup of ☕️ I feel the price is worth it very culinary.
Everything looked delicious! Can't wait to try it for myself on my next visit!!
Thanks!
Thanks for the Super Thanks, Mario!
Beautiful Desserts
Thnxs guys next time am in Vegas am going there 👍🏻🇺🇸next have some cold milk 🥛
Another awesome video from 2 of our favorite people. Thank you both.
Thank you for sharing such a great detailed video on Dominique Ansel! I’m looking forward to trying it in January!!
Other than Bottega Louie in LA, those are the most beautiful pastries ever! I also love how they’re packaged in that yellow box. Very classy
We been to BL a few times. Their food is great but pastries are to die for
Never seen a pastry Video like this you guys are the best greetings from Michigan
Works of art for sure!!!!! You guys are amazing.
Was just there a few days ago…..Yummy Can’t wait to go again !!!!!
Unless you are in Paris France on the orient express this is outrageous for the cost. I understand being in a casino and the upcharge but really 58 dollars for your pastries.
I will be in Vegas at the end of November. And staying at Caesars. I will definitely be checking this place out!
I haven't had a kouign-amann in FOREVER and I NEED one now 😩
wow that was so good looks delish eventhough its expensive id still get it
😋new tasting experience... beautiful! 👍
That's a lot of wasted packing for a single donut.
Agree, hope there’s a recycle bin nearby.
There’s always a problem with everything huh ed
At least it's paper instead of plastic packaging
@@mluu510 be that as it may it's a dig box for a donut
Love your channel. Greetings from Ottawa Canada
Looked delicious
You two, when I think I don't want to try these places you pull me in. Yeah, I usually don't like desserts like this so much. Just too many sweets for me. However, you have gotten me interested. Will have to walk over to Caesars to try some of these desserts. Your descriptios of the desserts are nice, so I can determine if I would like them.
A really nice, sweet, video..with my two favourite americans 👍❤️👍well done you two lovely sweethearts 😉👍👍❤️
Great video 📹
Amazing!! I’ll be in Vegas next week…I see they had a bunch of cronuts available..what time did you go. I’m from Ny and they sell out of the cronuts quickly and you have to reserve ahead of time. Not to mention the long lines.
wow. i know of these items from vlogs of nyc. now in lv....which means there are now more people who will know the ins and outs of making cronut. hence, more places making and serving and more people having the delight of eating. glad you went. nice to see.
One can see the exquisite attention to detail on those decadent desserts. Definitely a Las Vegas "one & done" type of extravagance. BTW - The crew always appreciates your screen shot of an eatery's receipt. That's your patented move over the myriad of other Y-T foodie channels present on this platform. Practice The Presence Yo ! 🗣💲 🔍
I love his facial expressions! He really seems to show wonder!
Looks absolutely Awesome. Hello from Niagara Region of Ontario Canada
I go to Vegas 3 times a year. I will be definitely trying these expensive but I am sure delicious pastries. Great Video Guys like always.
Great review! Very interesting, they look to beautiful to eat.
Do you eat it or put them on the ornamental mantelpiece
Price seems right for location imo.I go to a not fancy French bakery in SF and pay $7 for a Kouign Amann, kinda like a small cinnamon roll. Quality!! 😉
I love a good pastry. I only have to travel 3 hours to get one!
Great review of this new place. All of the cream pastries are so cute and delicate. I want to go and try them all!
2 things...another tremendously done video to make sundays platable and also derek did u compose the short musical score to begin this episode?
It's free RUclips music for creators.
@@AllYouCanVegas even the music for videos from years ago? honestly thought u made those tracks brother
Hope you don’t mind me saying , you’re wife looked as gorgeous as the pastries, your a lucky man , although I think my wife is a dish as well 🇬🇧
Another place to go try when we are at Caesars Palace in February!
Love this I just booked my Las Vegas vacation for May.. Derick.. can you do a review of the golden steer
I am not out there right now - but I wish I was
Ame Este Reportaje Sobre Estos Deliciosos Pastelitos, Todos Se Ven Deliciosos, Saludos Cordiales Desde El Puerto De Tampico Tamaulipas México.😍😄🥠🧁🍰🍀🍩☕
They looked delicious. Nice video. Great info. The price is scary but your in Vegas lol why not treat yourself. Thanks and take care.
Wow 😯 look at those beautiful pastries 🥮
Since it's in Caeser's, you also get to pay the 200% "Hotel Tax"! Yay!
I gotta try this Place" at least Once" Derrick' your Face!!! Hahahaha" Good Stuff"
NICE
Wow, so expensive, But, I can lose more in a slots way quicker, so in the big picture, they are Worth it. Love your reviews
I added it to my list of things to do when I go soon.
Over $50 for pastries and you had to go hunt down plastic utensils and napkins ? And the packaging seems to be too extravagant and you're paying for that too. Nah...I'll pass....
So beautiful with so much attention to detail!
$60 😳 Is there a Krispy Kreme near by ? 😂
OMG!!!!!! To die for!!!!
That cronut looked absolutely luscious! I would have to try that! How do you eat all that sweet without something to drink? Thanks for taking me to another place I shouldnt go🤣!
Love ❤️ the music 🎵
Applause. Great job. If someone went just to get one for a snack it isn't that crazy priced.
I’m going to try that out this week. I love mango but I really want an almond croissant
Derek, It's all about the eyes! I don't know how you do it, but your visual queues say it all before you put it to words. So awesome! I haven't decided if I'll be going back to Vegas, every time I go it gets more scam-my and less hospitality, but it's places like this that make me want to come back.
vgv
What time did you go? Concerned about what time they may sell out of Cronuts. How was the line?
Around 4 p.m. Not that crowded.
🙏 beautiful treats 🎨
