As a British Gen Xer the music we had (like Madness, Bad manners, The Jam, Motorhead) where all bloody brilliant. A great time to grow up (even if we did have to put up with Maggie Thatcher!)

I was born in 86' but this is the stuff I remember being on MTV when my older sister was watching. Just fun/happy/catchy music and beats.
Talking of humour, you can see the Monty Python influence in this video for sure.

I grew up in Yorkshire England in the 70s our house was just like that. Our castle and our keep. Safe has houses.
