    That quality is *chef's kiss* I think that satin looking t-shirt makes it look even better. Where is that shirt from by the way?

      Hello,
      Thank you for your feedback! The garment in the video is a ring spun cotton shirt from Smart Blanks available at aaprintsupplyco.com/collections/garment-blank ideal for any sort of printing, the fibers are very tightly woven and lay very flat

    I have an idea! Why not develop an ink where the shirt does not need a pre-treatment! Developing that would be a game changer!

      Hello,
      Currently we are in development of a washer/dryer system that produces garments that are entirely pretreated. Additionally, there are printing methods available for these machines that use special film to apply onto a wide variety of materials, light or dark - WITH NO PRETREAT. Here is a brief webinar where we show the full process- ruclips.net/video/0D-L3JNqEjY/видео.html

      Ask yourself why does everyone pretreat ? It's two things white water base ink gets absorbed into the cotton fabric and looses opacity without the pretreat and heat press process, the ink needs to sit on top of the fabric like plastisol ink to be bright enough pretreat prevents a total absorption into the fabric, but it's also about knocking down the tiny fibers you can't see so the print head can print on an even surface, it results in a better print. when you print on a white shirt without heat pressing the shirt it looks a little fuzzy, or blurry, it's because if you look with a magnifying glass the surface is all fuzzy.

    Can it print the front of a zipper hoodie?

    • @AAPrintSupplyCo
      @AAPrintSupplyCo  2 года назад +1

      Hello! Yes it can, the machine is equipped with sensors to detect the high/low points of the garment before printing and auto adjusts the print head height accordingly. It's pretty wild

    I felt in 😍 with that Epson dtg cause do not need to adjust platten height, it printhead automatically adjust by its own, damn nice,but all my money already goes to brother dtg, 😂,and how much it ink price per packet ?

    How long would it take to recoup your investment before you start to have a profit? I wish I could have the unit cost and the overhead for this machine. I am in the dark because I don't have the cost volume profit analysis. Does anyone have some basic costs? Thanks!

    • @AAPrintSupplyCo
      @AAPrintSupplyCo  2 года назад +1

      Hello,
      Would you be financing the machine? If financing, I don’t see it as recoup as much as that financing amount going into your monthly bills (rent, electricity internet, employees, financing, etc.)
      If paying outright it depends on average profit per garment and estimated volume per month..you’ll then have to subtract cost to make shirt and monthly operating cost - drop me an email to Estevan@aaprintsupplyco.com

      Thanks for your question (yes, outright payment. I don’t have good credit because I decided to buy everything outright; I haven't used credit since 2006)

    Why use a heat press when everyone is starting to use a conveyor dryer?

    • @AAPrintSupplyCo
      @AAPrintSupplyCo  3 года назад +1

      Hello,
      Thank you for your feedback - both the heat press and conveyor dryer are great options for drying pretreat and curing ink. I am in the process of acquiring a new conveyor specifically for direct to garment and look forward to creating more content with it to share with your audience. Do you use a conveyor dryer?

    • @rulerofall2320

      @@AAPrintSupplyCo Nice!! I dont, i been using a heat press. But to me thats the problem with dtg as in it being time consuming. Now you can spry and lay until all shirts are pretreated. Then print and lay in the dryer. So much faster.

    Yah, let’s spend 60k and use a drawer PT machine with a heat press. You guys are salesmen, not tshirt printers.

      Hello,
      While many of us do have a printing background, you are correct in that we are more on the retail side of things. I am not set up for manufacturing or production at my location but we do have equipment set up for demonstration purposes to show operation, functionality etc

    Overall to many steps and time consuming for making 1 Tshirt.

    • @AAPrintSupplyCo
      @AAPrintSupplyCo  Год назад

      Hello, for direct to garment the steps are:
      1. Pretreat your shirt
      2. Print shirt
      3. Dry (cure) ink on wet shirt

      @@AAPrintSupplyCo how many tes we have to use the heat press?

    • @AAPrintSupplyCo
      @AAPrintSupplyCo  Год назад

      Hello, pretreat can technically air dry so the only time you NEED to use the heat press is to dry the ink. For best results you will want to pre-press the garment before printing (for a few seconds) to lay the fibers down nice and flat
