Thanks for the video, it is really appreciated. I have been rejected from my chosen university, I feel a little lost on what I want to do. Thanks for sharing your struggle, it's common to have feelings like that and we should be more open about the pressures that young people face with choosing a career nowadays.
I’m also thinking of withdrawing from my university for a while…mostly due to both anxiety and a lack of job experience. I need a breather and I need to bolster my experiences in the job world if I wanted to achieve the career I wanted, and I wasn’t able to do that because I always think about homework and assignments and classes all the time.
This has encouraged me kind of set back up my channel. I’m kind of in the same place as you wanting to transfer courses however I have to complete my degree first. I am now showing my journey to get through my first degree paramedic science to get into and study graduate entry medicine which means that I will do a total of 7 years of uni fortunately all but £4000 is covered by finance. My parents aren’t on board with it, my brother is and so is my partner and my personal tutor at uni was great about it and talk through it with me. It’s been a major struggle going against my parents but it is needed for me as I don’t think I wouldn’t be happy if I stayed and was a paramedic for the rest of my life.
I recently joined a course and I’m in my second week but I highly dislike going to university because I feel like I don’t want that and I’m not sure on what to do
i want to drop out but i checked on the slc website and it said they'll stop funding me when I drop out (as i will no longer be a student) but I don't know what to do because I have to pay rent for the rest of the academic year, do you have any advice on this?
You were brave to withdraw, paramedic science would have destroyed your morale if your heart wasnt in it! It takes a certain type of person to do any of these jobs, and if your head isnt in it then it's not gonna work! Well done👍
Thank you Megan! Yes it was a scary decision. But I’m more than that and want a career I love and enjoy. There’s no shame in admitting you aren’t in love with a career anymore. I hope this video helped :)

This was too personal. I needed to understand the financial, and logistical process of doing this. This was a waste of time.
Apologies you felt this way
@@2OrdinaryGuysyou’re good. RUclips was probably the last resource I should have been checking
